Idina Menzel - without a doubt she is the best Elphaba I have ever seen.

My 2nd favorite is Kerry Ellis - What a voice she has!

After last Saturday, Ana. Her performance blew me away: the acting, the singing, everything! She was Elphaba.

Ana! Took my niece and nephew to see it on Friday night. Ana's "Defying Gravity" left the three of us breathless.

As a qualifier, my 12-year old niece has seen three actresses play Elphaba. And, my 10-year-old nephew is a terror on hockey rink. Tough critics.

I saw Eden and Kristin together as well...I saw Idina later on that year with JLT.

I have never seen Wicked, but I'v seen many clips. I like the Kerry Ellis and I love Idina. Idina singing "No Good Deed" is amazing. She was awsome. My friend saw her and thought she was great. I was so jealous.

I really liked Julia Murney until every time I've tried to see her she has missed. I really like Lisa Brescia, the new standby, when I saw her she was really good and hadn't even been on that much, so I'm really excited to see what she does with it when she gets more experience with it. Also I loved Maria Eberline when I saw her, I believe she could take over too if she wasn't so young...but I love Eden and Shoshana's vocals, I love Idina's acting, although some nights her vocals are off she still rocks. I like how controlled Ana's voice is. I really like Victoria's too. Heck I like all of them!!!!!! YAY FOR ELPHABAS!!!!!

i've never seen Idina but of the elphaba's i have seen, i enjoyed eden espinosa the most. i really enjoyed her voice and i liked how she made the character grow.

I have to say, I am a complete EDEN fan. She is just amazing. When I saw her, I thought so, and that was back in July. Now, I've heard more recent clips, and she's twice as amazing! Her riffs are spellbinding and powerful. I don't see how anyone could think anyone is better than her...

No, I am completely serious. Eden never ceases to amaze me. Now of course I was exaggerating when I said nobody else could be good. I agree Kerry, Idina, Kristy, etc. are all exceptional as well. I just have a personal attachment to Eden 1) because she's amazing and 2) she was the lead in my very first Broadway show.
