Posted: 3/17/06 at 4:32pmI haven't seen it in awhile, but I always thought the cast did a sort of revolving thing, where on any given night, at least a couple of people had alternates in. Is that still going on?

Check on compulsivebowlers.org for current cast lists and reviews. The official site is infrequently updated and is probably not accurate.
Ava is out for the entire month of March. Caren Lyn Manuel is filling in for her.
everythingtaboo, there's no 'revolving cast' thing at Rent, if you mean on a scheduled basis. Often there are understudies on but that's only when someone calls out.

thanks erinrebecca. the last time i went the cast had so many people out that they printed an insert to basically rewrite the "who's who" page. i guess it's easier than the confetti! but maybe i went on a bad week.
but at least i got to see antonique smith as mimi, and she was the best Mimi i ever saw!
