Based on that telecast, PHANTOM.

I don't really see any of the musicals closing anytime soon, kinky boots, matilda and motown were all selling very well before the tonys. I actually see all of them getting a boost for awhile, especially Pippin.

All that, and Cinderella should play very well through the summer and into tourist season.

Annie will go away first, I think.

No, right after unless they get a terrific replacement.

I think this might be the first time in a few years where I don't see anything closing due to performance at the Tonys or weak ticket sales.

Without a kick-ass replacement for Jane Lynch (or another cast member; doesn't have to be the Hannigan actress, I don't even see Annie making it through September/October, or even the summer.

I wouldn't be surprised if Annie posted a closing notice around the time Jane Lynch's contract ends. I didn't think much of the choreography in last night's Tony performance.

Which will stay open longer, Kinky Boots or Matilda?

I give Matilda a year and a half to 2 years. once Charlie and the Chocolate factory comes over it will be finished.

I'd guess and say Kinky Boots will run about three years. Matilda & Cinderella - 2 years. Pippin - 4-5 years based on replacements. However, I'd say Motown will out run them all. I see Motown as the next Mamma Mia (unfortunately).
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

I expect ANNIE will close after Labor Day.
Wonder what will go into the Palace....
Nothing else is doing that poorly. I just wish MAMMA MIA were closing instead of moving. The Broadhurst should not be wasted on a flailing long-running crappy show.
I expect KINKY BOOTS will have a run similar to IN THE HEIGHTS, though perhaps slightly shorter because of the material. MATILDA will probably be similar to BILLY ELLIOT's run. MOTOWN will be like MAMMA MIA.
Does anyone know what is next for the Barrymore? Lyceum? Belasco? Marquis?

Bodyguard camp are in disarray. Heather Headley is apparently being tricky to confirm schedule causing the Broadway opening to be delayed and they are having troubles casting a replacement for London. The show is only booking to Sept in West End and there are plenty of shows wanting the theatre. Bodyguard though is still performing well sales wise, so it would be an awful shame for them to pull the plug on it.
I think Annie will close end of year/early Jan. Cinderella could also be the same unless sales go up I think...

Pippin won't run 3 years.
Well I didn't want to get into it, but he's a Satanist.
Every full moon he sacrifices 4 puppies to the Dark Lord and smears their blood on his paino.
This should help you understand the score for Wicked a little bit more.

The Bodyguard cant be doing that well considering how many discounts have been flying around?
It wouldnt surprise me if they close London and ship the set to NYC. Surely they could recast Heather if she is being difficult, someone like Jennifer Hudson would be a much bigger draw anyway
