"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.”
~ Muhammad Ali
"I don't really get the ending, all i can go with is when after several months,Judith saw Pat sang, and later she kissed him on the toilet, after that the story back to where Pat went down from the stage after he'd sung, and he went to the italian lady.I just don't get it,what Judith exatcly meant when he kissed Pat that she had seen, and did Pat end up together with The Italian Lady? Please help me,thank u very much!"

I do hope that nobody is writing to make fun of Ms. Kathy Baker who in my opinion is one the most talented actresses to ever grace the screen. But I would love to see Laurie Metcalf on stage. She is absolutely hilarious.

I must admit that I do not recognize those last two....what about Kristen Scott Thomas and Emma Thompson in a Merchant Ivory spin?

I would like a Merchant Ivory spin on that. They could get Maggie Smith to be Madame Morrible and Hugh Grant as Fiyero.

My vote is for Megan Mullally!!!! She would be adorable!
(Or Fantasia)

Ms. Mullally (although incredibly talented)about 15 years too old for that role. She would get crucified by the critics for doing it. She should stick to more mature roles. I'm dying for her to take on Vera Charles in Mame.

I know, I love it too. But I'm a gay jew so it's in my blood.

Ok...so I didn't get that you guys are joking. There are so many Wicked fans (i'm one, but not as serious as some of these kids), and they always bring up MM. I forgot that there are some out there with a sense of humor about the whole thing.
yeah i assume DefyingGravity2 is right. Wouldnt the understudy go in for it?? I think the show is too much of a startrain right now, though. They need a big name as Glinda for the first few months after Kristin is gone, or the show might go under. At Least Idina and Joel will still be there. And Norbert.
Laura Bell Bundy was awesome when I saw Wicked. I wasn't mad that I didn't get to see Kristin Chenowith once the show started. Glinda doesn't have to be a star, Elphaba should be awesome though. Laura Bell Bundy makes for a perfect counter to Elphaba.
we should all remember that Melissa Bell Chait is the first understudy, the only reason LBB has been on so much is that Melissa has been recovering from a stroke.
Had Melissa been healthy, she would have played Glinda the vast majority of times KC was off.
So when consdiering if LBB will take over, remember that MBC is main understudy, and by all accounts vastly better than LBB.
6 months ago- shes been back only a few weeks, and after being back 2 weeks, she went on with 20 minutes notice, after not playing the role for 7 months, as Glinda.
what an amazing woman to come back from a stroke and do that. And by all accounts she was amazing.
actually...that's not really correct information. although the lovely melissa bell chait is indeed the understudy for the role of Galinda, the equally lovely Laura Bell Bundy is the standby for the role. That means if Ms. Chenoweth is out, Ms. Bundy goes on. Only when neither Ms. Chenoweth nor Ms. Bundy can appear does Ms. Chait perform. That's how it goes with a standby.
