Who will be the next tenant of Circle on the Square?

I'm not dancing on the grave here, but am curious - who do you think will be the next tenant in Circle In The Square. Two shows that come to mind are The Wiz revival and ACE, neither of which I liked in their San Diego incarnations, I must say.

I personally think THE STORY OF MY LIFE would fit well there.

I haven't seen it, but when I heard the description I thought of the Helen Hayes and the Circle in the Square.

Also, I would love to see producers go back to New Jerusalem, which was rumored to be coming in for a while.

Next to Normal?
Stalag 17? (Which still hasn't formally been pronounced dead.)

Who knows?

Is it too late for the producers of Title Of Show to switch theatres?

As much as I think that that show is a bad idea for Broadway I think that the Circle in the Square would be a better fit for it then the Lyceum.

broadwaybaby - the WIZ revival is much too huge to put in Circle.

the reason they didn't come to Broadway following the La Jolla run is because the Producers couldn't book a theatre that was big enough (they had plans to turn the ENTIRE theatre into a set piece... something magical like that).

my best guess is STORY OF MY LIFE. makes sense for the show and they're already confirmed for the '09 season.

I think Saved would be hard because they'd have to restage and redesign, but who knows. It seems like the stage got a lot smaller for Glory Days than it did for Spelling Bee, is that true? Did they add more seats and take away stage ?

Yes.
