It was probably more than a liter. I remember having a fabulous time. Couldn't tell you who played who, but I still had fun with all my friends.

Remember when Broadway Guy's Mom sold herself to as many men in one night as she could in order to pay for a boob job that her pimp wanted her to get so he could make her more money otherwise he'd cut her money maker up with a knife and "don't nobody want no cut up ho" so she did a marathon run in downtown L.A. with just herself and a cup as proof of her conquests?

I'm more musical OCD, so if your playing your music on shuffle and a song from a musical that I know comes on, I will just kind of hope you will skip it because I only want to hear it with the rest of the recording.
Please, pleaaase don't use "OCD" to describe that.
I consider it one of the reasons why Broadway is losing interest in sopranos, among other shows. I mean, what the hell is going on with lowering Julie Jordan's keys? Why?
Wicked is just one contributor to this pattern, I think (and no, Glinda doesn't count as a legit soprano role in my eyes--you have to belt parts of it). Modern audiences just don't seem to like high notes. I don't know if it's because they're not used to them or if something else has changed.
As for why I dislike Wicked, I just don't think it's that good. There are a few good songs, but a lot of them don't really fit the rest of the show, IMO. I mean, "As Long as You're Mine" could be a love duet between anyone. And "For Good" is completely superfluous and, IMO, shallow in terms of exploring the relationship between the two characters.

Oh you are so right Kad.We will be dancing through life in eternity.before she died she kept screaming "annnnd im telllling youuu IMMM NOT GOING" But i tried to calm her down by saying "what kind of life have you known.god gave me courage to show you you are not alone" Her last dying words were "tell all the people.tell them the time is always now.tell them to fight for what they know is right" and then my mom...expired.

Back when BWW was in its formative years, tons of teen-aged fan-girls (and boys) flooded the site with endless posts about WICKED.
One character called WickedGeek28 delighted in thinking up questions and polls to mention their favourite show. Here are some samples:
-This is a place where you could post your faovrite cast recordings and why. My favorite is WICKED because it comes across very well to disc, it's very clear, it is pleasing, and I can lsiten to it over and over and it doesn't grow old....
-What are your favorite designs and why? My favorite is the WICKED design because it perfectly describes the show that you are about to see and the witch's relationship and secrets.... !
-What is your favorite replacement in a broadway show, it can be past or present. Mine is Megan Hilty as G(A)LINDA in WICKED....
-omg i just realized that rejoicify wasnt a real world... wow wicked has got to my head after almost two years of listening and seeing it....
-LONG LIVE WICKED....

Cast albums are NOT "soundtracks."
Live theatre does not use a "soundtrack." If it did, it wouldn't be live theatre!
