I live and work in Manhattan and haven't noticed any souvenir stores crop up in the places I spend the most of my time in. OTOH, why are there so many private equity ghost kitchens popping up everywhere?

I mean, they've always been around midtown and I find them preferable to the unlicensed weed shops.
