Saw the show today for the first time.
Snnnnnn...... except for Borle.
Those songs! That choreography! That set!
Wasted opportunity.
It's a shame you had no advance notice it might not be a good show... heh.
I don't think the role required him to shave his head, but rather if he shaved his head he could arrive at the theater later to put on wigs and such, so as the show went on, he found a balance between cue balling it and what you saw.

Ha I wondered the same when I saw it! Glad to know I wasn't the the only one. This whole show was a wasted opportunity. ALL of it.
Maybe someone finally told him that he just looked creepy.
...One of the many things wrong with this production.

Probably, noone either noticed or cared...I imagine the backstage energy levels must have gotten progressively lower as the run wore on and the everyone realized that they were in a lost cause that a lot of people hated.

Every actor have moments or simply dislike the show they are performing in. Its normal - not everything is a 100% love-fest. A job is a job regardless if its in an office, a restaurant or even on the Broadway stage.
Charlotte d'Amboise has stated in interviews she would never want to play Velma Kelly in CHICAGO because she hates the "I Can't Do it Alone" number. She even hates having to watch it as Roxie.
I can’t wait for this production to retreat to the dark memories of Broadway past. We shall not speak of it again.

Wish the same could be said of your sock puppetry ways. But, alas... you keep popping up everywhere...

Are you using the Royal We? How very Trump of you!
Cue the obligatory BroadwayConcierge hissy fit about how we should ignore all previous ignorant comments and stop ganging up on him...
I’d rather keep this production and have something else retreat to the dark memories of BroadwayWorld past.
I guess I'm one of the only people on this board that did not hate this show. But then I was given a ticket , so who knows, I might have felt diferently if I had paid. I went in expecting to hate it and ended up having fun. Christian Borle was wonderful as always and Jackie Hoffman stole the show every time she had something to do.
The one thing I really hated was John Rubensteins performance. His constant mugging and overacting made me wish that his character was also killed at some point. He did the same schtick he did when he went in the revival of Pippin. The one good thing I can say about his acting is that it is better than his directing.
