There is a thread with this same exact question.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

Funny, when you go to that thread, the first reply are to two previous threads on the same topic as well.

I don't get the interest. If you like it, like it. If you don't like it, don't like it. No one has ever convinced me a show I disliked was good, or vice versa.

HogansHero said: "is Finding Land the musical about Christopher Columbus?"

It's actually the musical about ambitious property investors looking for a nice, ol' plot of land somewhere. Better than Hamilton.

HGTV's musical

I have to renovate this plot,

I have to renovate this plot,

hey, this house needs fixing and I'm renovating this plot!

I appoligise for any spelling mistakes. I may be on my mobile. Clumsy fingers and small little touchscreen keys don't mixx. I try to spellcheck, but I may miss something.

The Columbus musical was by Meredith Wilson with John Cullum and Chita Rivera. It sank out of town .It was cleverly called 1491.

This made me laugh more than it should have.

"Contentment, it seems, simply happens. It appears accompanied by no bravos and no tears."

Why does everyone hate finding land the musical

How can anyone hate a musical that doesn't even exist?!?

The thing is, besides being an utter toad of a human being, Riedel usually has the least knowledge of the topic in the room. He doesn't usually understand the content or approach of a show, and is always completely and unfailingly socially ignorant, which makes it really infuriating when Susan can't get a word in edgewise. A definitive mansplainer; it's always painful when he has female guests. I watch the show sporadically when I really want to see a guest, because it's the only theatre talkshow we have, but it would be so much better without this hateful clown in a dadcoat. Finding Land is underrated. the act one closer, "Hey I think that's some land" is a nice, toe-tapping showstopper, and the big ballad "Where is that F•cking land" is also, I think, really strong. I'm not too fond of the second act, especially "Is this land or more like swamp ground?" and "Land is really hard to find apparently" go on about two or three minutes too long. But that's just MHO.

Learn something new every day. Did you see it Roxy? Did it have any good songs?

Also, this was hysterical.
