I saw here on Broadway world that The Lehman Trilogy is coming back in the spring along with many other shows. However, it did mention the they'd be looking for another house. My question is, why would they decide to do that? They aren't making money due to the shut down, and they did have some preview performances before the shut down. Considering that the sets etc are all set up at The Nederlander, wouldn't it cost them more money to move?

It was a limited run and another show has already booked the Nederlander

What’s next in line for the Nederlander?

A logical choice for the Lehman Trilogy is the Ethel Barrymore.
If they stick with a Nederlander house, the options are close to none:
Brooks Atkinson - SIX
Gershwin - Wicked
Lunt-Fontanne - Tina
Marquis - Once Upon a One More Time (is this still happening?)
Minskoff - Lion King
Nederlander - ?
Richard Rodgers - Hamilton
Neil Simon - MJ the musical

IMO I would look for anther theatre if I were them. The Nederlander is probably the theatre I dislike attending the most. I just don't feel that safe when I leave that theatre after an evening performance and the street remains dreary to me. I have felt that way since I was probably 16 and it was called the Billy Rose Theatre. I don't have any unique issues with the interior of the theatre(just one in a long line of too cramped theatres)
For patrons who take the bus to port authority or park at port authority, Nederlander theatre is a great location since it's just across the street.
It ain’t that they’re looking for a new one, it’s that their old one ain’t available

What show is coming into the Nederlander?
I recall reading several months ago that Simon Russell Beale is starring in Ibsen's John Gabriel Borkman in London in spring 2021 but that has probably been postponed as well. Regardless, I hope all 3 actors are able to still perform on Broadway when it comes back!
I know that Once Upon a One More Time cancelled it's pre-Broadway run, but now I'd have imagine they actually look to replicate their previous pre-Chicago to Broadway track next summer, since Broadway seems to be cutting and pasting it's spring 2020 plains to spring 2021. That might leave Marquis open for a summer/fall run for Lehman, in the absence of anything else new to present.
