And I just read elsewhere that Kristin is out of WICKED tonight. Does that mean no Letterman? Or no Chenoweth on Letterman? This was to be Idina's big shot, but it wasn't clear if Kristin would turn up to add support to "Defying Gravity." The number is at least half-duet...

I heard that Idina isn't going to fly. Is it true? Are they going to stick her in the audience or somethin? LOL! Defying Gravity performed without Defying Gravity. That'll be the day.

Maybe Idina is doing the concert version -- the one she performed between SF and NYC in her own show. Amneris4ever, who posts here, heard that, and says it works great. But I thought she'd be there, all green and in character, along with KC. It now depends on KC's health. Or, maybe she'll do Letterman and go straight home.

11:35? Doesn't Dave have to do his stupid schtick first? He makes you wait forever for the musical guest to appear, usually 12:25ish.

Ya...it should be on at 12:00 or later. Also, if he has another guest, the musical performance would be after that. I was sick today...still am and I am tired, but Broadway is more important! I have to watch it.

Oh ya. I remember reading that they were going to perform in costume and run directly over to the theatre. They said the curtain should go up on time. Amneris4Ever...I thought the same thing!

The number just finished. It was pretty good. She screamed it a little bit however. But it was still good. Obviously much better in the theater. I really enjoyed this show . I hope it continues to do well. :)

Very impressed with Idina! She did great. Although I didn't understand the Tarzan-like trill thing she did at the end of the song. But whatever...
And did the opening people who were singing "kill the witch" remind anyone else of "Kill the beast" from Beauty and the Beast??
But she sounded great, and I think all things considered, (with the limitations of the studio) the whole defying gravity was fine.

i got the cd too...illegally tho from a friend, i couldnt help it, or live till the album release...and to clear things up it was way different from the musical, Kristin wasnt their and the song was a little different...
