I was just wondering since i'm prolly seeing it tommorow night
Yes, have a great time!
Not really I was bored out of my mind!
I can't think of anyone appreciating that show.
I saw it locally and it was a fun show.. Not one that I would repeat but ok for a guy.. Of course women enjoy it wayyy more and pretty much older women are the ones that relate to it more.
I'm a guy and I saw it. It was really cute! Made me laugh pretty hard several times. Enjoy it if you wind up going! :)
Uh unless the guy is a post op transsexual, I would say no.
If you loved MAMMA MIA! you'd fit perfectly with the demographics for this musical.

Why do they call it menopause, anyway? It implies it's going to start again.
Saw it with my wife. I thought it was OK, she thought it was hysterical. Wouldn't have gone by myself, that's for sure.
If you are there when your wife/girlfriend is going thru it, you definitely will appreciate it.
Is this the one from the UK?? The one which whipped it so much media attention when it was called the worst show ever written?
This thread is fun!
All the *straights* are checking to see if it's OK to see a *girly* show. Throw back a cosmopolitan and untwist your panties. You'll be fine.
Amen, sista Princeton!
I saw MENOPAUSE with a guy friend and we had a blast!
It's a hysterical show.
If I can sit through "The Vagina Monologues" while one of the actresses picks me out of the audience to high five, then your man can darn well sit through "Menopause." haha!
Seriously, I saw "Menopause" with my wife and I loved it, but then I love women!
First of all you are going to recognize all the tunes. It takes hit pop tunes from the 50s-80s and rewrite the lyrics for the subject matter. My wife and I took another couple and all 4 of us had a blast. Some very funny stuff. Men are definitely out numbered 8 or 10 to 1. But, that was certainly better than a Cris Williamson concert where I was the only male and my wife and I were the only straight couple in the entire audience.
This show has been a huge success here in Australia where it has grossed in excess of AU$23 million. It has been playing since February 2005 and is scheduled to tour through to the end of this year. At one time there were 2 companies touring (somewhat a rare occurence here). Shortly after the show opened (here) it was discovered that the creator Jeannie Linders never got permission to use the songs she parodies, songs were dropped new ones written and lawsuits flew.
To answer your question though, just be prepared to laugh at hot flush jokes again and again and again.
Sorry, I was asking the OP.
