I want to do the musical. I know it's not that good but still. If not does anyone know where I can find the libretto?
I hope they release the rights to this. The score is wonderful and I still think there's a lot of potential in the piece. Wasn't it Laura Benanti who revealed that the show froze at the matinee that happened the same day the major critics were invited to review the show? I think a production just needs to find the right groove for this material to come across right.

Same, I think if this was ever revived with a better libretto it would be awesome.

MTI have the rights - it's listed in the CD booklet that they're representing the show. So presumably it'll get released at some point - the question is when.

Most definitely. It was probably a big factor in choosing to do the CD,

Any idea when? I hope soon.
As you were told, MTI holds the rights so why don't you contact them and find out.

I can't tell sarcasm so I'm sorry if I look stupid. Can you do that?
There's no sarcasm. Call MTI and ask them.

Thanks! :)
If you call, post back what you hear. I'm dying to know too! I just want to see a live production of this show so bad.

Will there be a long distance charge? Because I can't call if there is.
If u r not in the Manhattan area code(s) yes, long distance rates will apply.
On the other hand, I'm sure they have an on line presence somewhere, try to locate that and proced.

I can't call and my e-mails keep failing to send. Could someone in the Manhattan are code call? Sorry to be a bother.
Your parents object to you making a two minute out of state phone call? You said you're older than 15 so I'm pretty sure you know at least one person with a cell phone that you can use.

First of all, out of country. Second, I don't want to make an unnecessary call. I have other expenses.
Lol
If you really want to do the production, you will incur a lot more sizable expenses than a long-distance call.

No, my director wants suggestions.

So why doesn't your director call? I'm sure he's got a big boy phone.
I still can't figure out if Steel Pier Fan is a troll or not?
edit: just saw Namo's troll spray, lol.

He's not a troll just a very young child with an active imagination.
He DID know who Margo Channing was though. And Margo hasn't been here in years.
Oh he did???
