I was never the hugest fan of her, but this it's definitely fun and in the spirit of the show for her and Harvey to be reunited onstage again for the final weeks.

Wouldn't it be funny if Matt, Kerry, Laura-Bell, came back to close the show out as well...most of them are not employed at this time, but some have projects lined-up!

Wow I might now go back to catch her and Harvey together again. Both of them provided some of the best performances I've ever seen on Broadway!

Yep, that's what all of the hoopla was about. Though I'm excited to see Marissa again, I'm relieved that it wasn't an earlier closing.

FINALLY this was announced! I found out early this morning, and wanted to say something so bad! I am SO HAPPY for Marissa!!! I cannot wait!

But I really feel horrible for Marissa. :-/

How was Marissa Perry screwed over?

She signed a nine month contract in April that expires in December. She assumed it was going to be renewed because the show is closing and the producers instead chose to bring back the girl who originated the role to close out the run.

They honored their deal with her (and frankly, considering how often she has been out since taking over, she's lucky they did.) It's certainly not as if she had the rug pulled out from under her.
