WONDERLAND's website has the six clips up. They claim they are doing it every Thursday, but maybe it's every Monday and every Thursday now? Not sure how that's working.
There is one clip on YouTube. It's a backing track of "Once More I Can See" followed by Brandi Burkhardt's "Finding Wonderland" and is the preview on the website.
Thanks Philly, I will try that!
I'm sorry... I just don't get it.
I try SO hard to find the appeal. But, alas, it just fails.
Mock me if you will but the only good material that man has put together is in "The Civil War". Call me crazy but it's true.
This "Wonderland" stuff is just so amateur and odd. Guess that's enough to expect, from Mr. Wildhorn. Ugh!!!!

"I have more problems with certain lyrics that seem to just flat out end randomly (like the new clip of Through the Looking Glass - "As my crazy life begins to approach / critical mess / through the looking glass")."
Critical mass, dear. :)
New video on the Wonderland website...looks like a montage of some of the rehersal / views from Tampa with Dacal's "Finding Wonderland" and the promo video with Burkhardt's "Once More I Can See" / "Finding Wonderland" under More Music / Video!
Can someone post a link to the pre-order page. I don't see it. Or is it not on the actual website?
There is now a section under Merchandise. Go to http://www.FrankWildhorn.com for information, or you have to PHONE your order, which is on the Wonderland website!
Release is ON or AROUND November 1st still; looks completed, but just depends if they can ship stuff out - which they obviously cannot on a Sunday!
I truly wonder who's getting a copy besides Wildhorn and philly03.
Surprisingly blaxx, even I have yet to order it yet!
Oh, then just Wildhorn. That's better than zero copies sold, I suppose.
A few fans will buy Wonderland as long as it doesn't leak. Dracula is the one that no one will buy. Everyone who wants to hear it already got their hands on the leaked copy.
Wildhorn has fans? Besides philly03, I mean.
"Wildhorn has fans? Besides philly03, I mean."
Wow, that's the very first time I have ever heard that one.
And not very funny either since it's clear that the majority of his shows have large groups of dedicated fans.
I love the new video and "Once More I Can See." Very nice.
For anyone who did order this - the CDs will be arriving in Tampa on Monday and Tuesday, and they should be shipped out hopefully by Wednesday.
Performances start in 23 days!

Has anyone heard it yet? I guess the CD is supposed to be on sale at the theatre now.

Actually, the marketing department at TBPAC told me they've received voluminous amounts of emails requesting the CD from all around the world. I told them, I don't know why they're not doing a major release but they said they only wanted to keep it modest for now. A lot of people might be interested in seeing this production when the Disney film is released.
I'm actually looking forward to this. Frank Wildhorn once again shows a gift for writing melodic pop songs and the lyrics, while not giving Sondheim a run for his money, serve their function. Those of you who are looking for a "true" musical theatre score will be disappointed but if you take the show for what it is, you will probably enjoy it.
I was told the albums should be in the hands of those who pre-ordered by Monday or Tuesday most likely. And just as a note: BroadwayBaby6: Frank does not write the lyrics. An occasional lyric or song title with the basis of the song, yes, but not the actual lyrics. If you have a problem with the lyrics send it over to Jack Murphy, Gregory Boyd or Phoebe Hwang!
I'm listening to the CD now...and I like it for the most part. However, I'm hoping some of the songs' orchestrations are more traditional...some of it sounds like a '90s pop dance single, and then some of it sounds like they're in a cabaret...Overall love the melodies though. We shall see how it sounds on stage!
So far my favourite part about it is Snelson, but like Dacal too! Julie Brooks sounds incredible on her track! Really glad to finally hear the entire version of "Finding Wonderland" too!
I'm listening too and I really like it. I hope it does well.

philly03 if you, of ALL people, have such faint praise for this can you really expect any of us to have any faith whatsoever in the prospects for this property? I mean, really...
Anyway, there's a demo of this that's been floating around for 10 years.
P
Just finished listening to the whole thing from start to finish. This pretty much sums up how I feel about it... "W.. T.. F?"
This has some of the WORST lyrics I have heard. Half of these songs sound like they belong in different shows.
I really don't see this being successful.
On the bright side, Once More I Can See and Finding Wonderland sound wonderful and are GREAT ballads, but they just can't make up for most of this trash.
Oh, and The Madd Hatter song sounds great but uh... Nikki's other song The Nick Of Time is catchy but is more of a workout song.
