Apparently, Julie's reconfiguring the theatre into a theatre in the round setting, thus explaining why the Hilton has sat empty for so long with so much work going on.

This is going to be a fantastic smash or fantastic failure. With all the work they're doing on the theatre, plus all the tech elements, plus a cast that will certainly be almost entirely big names... how the hell are they ever going to recoup?

I was thinking the same thing! I am excited about this, and I hope it turns out to be a hit, but I'm really not excited about her being cast.

Here's what I don't get - when Spidey has his mask on, his mouth is covered. How is he gonna sing?

On the other hand, you can't see his face at all, so they might as well have the actor playing Peter Parker just say the lines from offstage, while a stunt double/acrobat does all the Spidey moves onstage.

By the way, that's the was the Power Rangers TV show is done. The actors inside the Power Ranger costumes are Japanese acrobats. The dialogue is dubbed in by the actors playing their "alter egos". The same action footage of the Power Rangers is used in different countries, with different actors.

Evan Rachel Wood is a stunning actress and I am very excited for this. I am sure the music will be very poppy and synthesized, perfect for Rachel. I am sure she is training vocally for the 8 shows and if the show is tech heavy and stylized, they may even use tricks to strengthen her voice (backing tracks, effects, vocoders)...who knows.

I think this will be phenomenal.

Yeah and it is only going to get worse as the show nears completion and they continue to run out of money.

Jon , I am not sure if the characters are going to sing. I will bet anything it is going to be more like a Spiderman themed Cirque.
