What s the worst thing you saw last year? And what is the shows fate now?
I saw "Ten Commandments" with Val Kilmer . It was hideous. The production was to tour and then open in NY. The whole thing has been called off.

Worse Show I saw last year was a propduction of this silly little Transie Show called...
Rudoplh the Red Hosed Reindeer.
Yes it was truly that stupid and silly and I just did not like it.
Dracula. Hands down terrible. And i think we all know it's fate:
Bit the dust
Really sucked
Drove a stake through its heart....ok, ill stop with the puns. Its just so easy,
i will second "the ten commandments." what a waste of 15 million dollars!
Honestly, the worst show I saw last year was Brooklyn. And since some people on the boards enjoyed it, I guess I got off pretty easy!

It wasn't bad. It wasn't my favorite show but it was pretty good. It just happens to be the worst thing I saw last year. I didn't really see anything too bad!
If we're counting community theater, then its Once Upon A Mattress. But if we're not, thats going to be difficult since I only saw two shows last year on Broadway...so I'd say its a tossup between Phantom of the Opera and Wicked. And neither one was bad.
People be heard at playwrights. I usually love the shows there but ugh this show was just boring! and the space aliens scenes laughable (and not in a good way).
i forgot the name but it was a two short plays with Issabella Rossolini. It closed and that is for the better!
Let's see...was last year the year of the Maurice Hines "Guys & Dolls" tour?
Blech.
I saw that tour! It was ok I guess. I liked Adelaide.
^^ Ick. She was the worst person in whole cast. Had no idea what kind of accent she thought she was doing. Not that it mattered. Maurice Hines had a spotlight on him every minute of the show, even during other people's numbers when he was doing nothing. Not to mention the fact that it looked like at least 3 different designers worked on the show.
Hideous.
Worst shows I saw --
"DRACULA" and "BROOKLYN", hands down
also.."The Elephant Vanishes" at Lincoln Center -- while the production was CLEARLY BRILLIANT and one of the most impressive visual experiences I have ever come across, I simply could not buy into it. It was a very unpleasant experience from the third row, and literally PHYSICALLY painful at the end.
It has to be Big River on tour. I liked what they were trying to do with it. But jeez, I've never felt so sleepy in a musical.
Did anybody see that off-broadway show, "Alice in Wonderland?!" I just remember reading broadway.com's review in January and it said, "It's still only January, but it's a safe bet that the winner of Worst Production of 2004 is now on stage at the Kirk Theatre on 42nd Street: Alice in Wonderland. In fact, I'd be willing to wager that there will never again be a worse show off-Broadway or on." I didn't see it, but it seems to me like that might have been the absolute worst show EVER.
I was going to buy a ticket to that and a friend who knows my taste warned me about Alice.
Heard it was a bit risque.
A Stoop on Orchard Street - I think it's still playing/touring
The national tour of Starlight Express.
Dracula. Although I did not enjoy Brooke Tansley's "sobbing" deliverying in Beauty and the Beast, but Dracula is first. ha!
y'all are killing me - yes, driving the stake through my heart.....
::crawls into corner and cries::
it's times like this when I will miss my onld username...so, just for kicks!

a shot in the dark... just atrocious... the book and the performances... ugh...
i liked dracula and bombay dreams was the best show of last year...not the worse! bklyn on the other hand was very bad...but the worse were movin out ,lion king and the producers
Dracula (Had no desire to see it, but my bro got me a free ticket, and I suffered through the horrid score. If it weren't for Des MacEnuff, I would have jumped onstage, taken the stake and stabbed myself in the heart.)
Movin' Out (Again, as I have posted many times in the past, I HATE Twyla Tharpe. I'm sorry - is that too strong of a word. Let me rephrase - I LOATHE Twyla. I DESPISE Twyla. Again - free ticket)
Take Me Out (Pointless. Waste of my time.)
The Kareoke Show (Was this even theatre? Talk about Horrendous)
Although my beloved was excellent in it-well, as excellent as you can be in a show that bad-"Dracula" was quite awful.
But "Brooklyn" was worse.
Proving once againg that "Vagina" was a fluke, "The Good Body" was miserable.
