Again, no real order:

-The Cast of "Singin' in the Rain"
-Ann Miller/Carol Haney/Fosee in "Kiss Me, Kate"
-Jennifer Hudson/Anika Noni Rose in "Dreamgirls"
-Judy Garland in "The Wizard of Oz" (loved it since I was born)
-Liza Minnelli in "Cabaret"
-Leslie Caron in "American in Paris" and "Gigi"
-The Cast of "White Christmas"
-Natalie Wood in "West Side Story" and "Gypsy"
-Deborah Kerr in "King and I"
-Barbra Streisand in "Funny Girl"

And, since it's not REALLY a musical, but there's a heavy amount of music involved in the story telling, as an honorable mention, I include Marion Cotillard in "La Vie en Rose."

Liza Minnelli in Cabaret
Anika Noni Rose in Dreamgirls (I'm sorry, she was the star of that movie)
Joel Grey in Cabaret
Barbra Streisand in Funny Girl
Natalie Wood in Gypsy
Rita Moreno in West Side Story
Ann Miller in On The Town, Kiss Me, Kate, Too Many Girls (Her in everything, but that's how I fell in love with her)
Judy Garland in A Star is Born, Easter Parade, Meet Me In St. Louis (Again, pretty much everything. But those are my favourites)
Tim Curry in RHPS (Genius!)
Shirley MacLaine and Chita Rivera in Sweet Charity

And if Marion Cotillard counts, she's absolutely on here. Absolutely stunning performance.

Glad to see other people enjoyed Anika Noni Rose's performance in DREAMGIRLS as much as I did. She had little screen time compared to the other actors but she gave such a well-rounded performance, I had to include her in my top 10.
I can't wait to see her take on Maggie.

I'm shocked and appalled that not one person has said Chita Rivera in West Side Story.

RE: Top Ten#33

Well, last time I checked, Chita Rivera was not in the film version of "West Side Story."

If you know of one, you tell us NOW. I will pay any sum for it. But, as far as I know, the major motion picture adaptation of "West Side Story" features Rita Moreno as Anita.

Do we need to sing the song? "Chita Rivera is not Rita. Rita Moreno is not Chita. Liza hates Rita but not Chita. Why won't the Union boycott RIta?"

EDIT: Why do I have a feeling I'm not the butt of some sarcastic comment? Damn you, Internet. (Seriously, if you were being sarcastic, I have to go stick my face in a bag for this extremely un-necessary rant.)

I wanted to add that I like the fact that Ann-Margaret is getting some love for her role in Tommy. Although the movie was not that great, she totally committed to it and I thought that she brought just the right tone to her part. Very memorable.

Why on earth are so many people mentioning Queen Latifah?

Yeah, she was good, but do you all honestly think she's in the top ten of ALL-TIME??

"Why on earth are so many people mentioning Queen Latifah?"

She is not in my top ten but i can see why people pick her. She is very relaxed on screen, has a wonderful voice, she has a very positive warmth about her, she is just on of those people you can relate to in a sea of spectacle. To each his own, because I wont understand why people put Nicole Kidman on their list.
