Camelot and Vanessa Redgrave both carry a lot of baggage. Who cares? She was at her most beautiful when the movie was made, and interpreted the lyrics with more depth than any version I've seen or heard. The funny ones were funnier and the poignant ones were heartbreakers.
And in an age dubbing, her lack of vocal polish was more than made up for with the match between her extensive dialog scenes that perfectly married with the timbre of her actually sweet voice.
As a movie, I think that Camelot is underrated.
