I love Lea, she's great. But I won't lie, someone singing this song REALLY doesn't impress me.

It was cool to see her doing pop music though.

The arrangement doesn't feel particularly fresh to me, the beginning is used by Gaga as her 'acoustic' version, the middle/end sounds similar to the popular version.

I don't think Lea Salonga brought much more vocally, and she can't 'perform' like Gaga can, but I suppose if you are a Salonga fan you would have enjoyed it.

Don't get me wrong, I adore Lea, but to me it sounded like a bad cruise ship or Vegas showroom version. Plus, to see her singing this oversynthesized version in her JCPenney blazer really wasn't hot or thrilling. FAIL.

Lady Gaga isn't exactly the kind of artist I would think someone like Lea Salonga would cover, or at least it wouldn't be high on Lea's list. Please, I know it's not that vocally challenging for Lea Salonga. :)

Couldn't agree with you more, HeyMrMusic. Good for her, it works. I mean she's not releasing it and trying to make it a single, it's a harmless, fun, and pretty neat version, IMO. Love it, love Gaga too, it works.
