Please help me. I am at my wits end. I have been searching on the web b/c i want to hear alisdair harvey sing if i can't love her but i can't find it anywhere. Does anyone have on their computer him singing it or know where I can listen to him sing it.

Isn't he on the London cast CD? Or am I thinking of someone else?

yeah he is on the original london cast recording. I want to buy it but I want to listen to him before I buy it

I too was looking for a clip of Harvey singing If I Can't Love Her before I went and made the purchase. I searched and searched but to no avail. I went ahead and bought the OLC of BATB, and was very dissapointed with his performance. They raised the key by a few steps (maybe 2 half steps) for If I Can't Love Her and it really ruined the dark broodingness of the song. It really became a fluffy field day for a tenor that didn't amount to very much in the end. While his actual stage performance might have been good, his vocals on the OLC aren't all that inspired..The Beast needs to be a hearty baritone I think..and his airy tenor just didn't cut it. I hear the Original Australian Cast's Beast is quite good however (plus you get Hugh Jackman as Gaston!)
