I just can't stop listening to the new CD and thinking of how perfect and silly the show is, and is what it should be!

Posted: 6/11/10 at 10:12pmI saw The Addams Family during its tryout here in Chicago. It just...sucked. I know everyone likes to dump on it, and I never felt the need to just repeat what everyone else ways saying. But the show is terrible. Even The Pirate Queen was better.

Oh, my gosh, I just lost my breath when you compared it to The Pirate Queen. !
The Chicago show must have been terrible or at least sad (no offense to the brilliant Stephanie), but The Addams Family is just a good, smart, silly, loving, and joyous fun, even with a message about "facing your fears to learn how to love"! Now, that's just pure zen (or at least good self-therapy). Again, the casting is perfect!
