hi all,
i am planning to perhaps see august osage county but i have been reading a few comments about how it has not been as good as it used to be. i have never seen it before and was very interested in seeing it before. is it still holding up? also - does it seem to drag at all? i am with some people who may not like the idea of three + hours. any advice thanks

With the new addition of Phylicia Rashad and the return of Amy Morton, it sounds like the show is back in great shape. And when this show performed well, it doesn't drag at all.

Oh, and I almost forgot to mention...I'm the good cop, he's the bad cop.

I saw it just before Rashad and Morton joined the cast, and it was fabulous. The cast I saw it late-April was incredible.

The play is a must see, for the writing alone. If youre not a Rashad fan, catch Parsons on one of the tour stops.

I saw it mid April and loved it even more than the original viewing.

Go see it: it's amazing. And just when you think you've seen 'everything' remember this: No, you haven't...there's more!!!

Rashad is incredible in this role, and she and Amy Morton are dynamite together.

I would bet money the show will be gone well before October.

both HAIR and ROA are awful, but if it is between those two, HAIR is the obvious choice of what to see...

WithoutATrace, we're all aware how vehemently you disliked HAIR.

There's no need for you to replicate those feelings in every thread possible.

Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.

BILLY ELLIOT, NEXT TO NORMAL, or if you're looking for something fun and harmless, 9 TO 5.
