brainlessorwise - I agree. Some people never want what is right in front of them and the best thing for them. She could have easily taken Matt who would do anything for her but instead she goes after what she wants. People like to go after what they can't really get.
So, I am listening to the NY version, and I just realized the many lyric changes in "Bare". I forgot how much I loved the beginning:
Have we come to the ending
Or am I just dreaming?
The music is gone now
The silence is strange
Can you call back that moment
On a day in September
When we first shared the secret
And everything changed
Can you know what you meant
To a soul that was searching
Can you know that I'm sorry
For all I've undone
And know that in my heart
You were the only one?
Those lyrics were so beautiful. It saddens me that people introduced to the show through this recording won't get to hear those. I feel like the new lyrics try to be so poignant, but they don't work as well.

agreed.
They're cut?!
*cries a little*
I still haven't gotten mine. My first shipment was lost in transit apparently, so I'm crossing my fingers that I'll have it Friday.
Yes, that's the one lyric change that doesn't sit well with me. I completely agree. The other lyric changes are not as hard to bear.
I agree about the lyrics too. I really prefer those as well but I guess they had to change them since they moved "Queen Mab" after "Bare". On a side note, I really love that they added Nadia's part at the end of "Promise". I think it adds so much to that part and her character.

For those who wanted to order but didn't get the chance, the restock has come in and they're now accepting new orders (with improved shipping options).
Now I just have to wait for the karaoke (or "Bareoke") to come out.

Oh, god...I just can't wait to see 40 new YouTube videos of skanky girls crooning "All Grown Up" for the school variety show...

So I've got a question. I ordered my CD this past Wednesday.
How long before they e-mail me the confirmation e-mail?!
I am awaiting as well. From someone else that ordered in the first phase...it took about 3 weeks before she got hers.

Hm...I don't know what to do then. Before I ordered it, I e-mailed asking if it would be here (I'm in college) before the 21st. They said yes. I leave the 21st. Now I'm starting to worry.

The problem with the first round of shipments was that they had NO idea that they'd get such a response and an insane amount of orders, since apparently it's like, one person packaging and shipping everything, so I think it took a while to get the kinks worked out.
I would assume this time around that things are straightened out a bit more, although I think it'd be pretty crappy if they just started opening up for orders again but still can't get things shipped within 2 days of them being ordered...
For most of us in the first shipment, we didn't get an email confirmation until WE EMAILED THEM. I was patient for 2 weeks after people started receiving their CDs. Even though I ordered my CD an hour after they went on sale. Sure enough... two days after I sent a polite email, I got a confirmation.
That may or may not apply for the shipments coming after. But... be aware?
Mine finally came! I have yet to listen to it or watch the DVD, but I'll report soon!

I like the old lyrics! Does anyone know where I can get a recording of the New York version with the old lyrics? Concept album maybe it is (sorry, I'm new to this show and I don't know much about all that yet) I heard them on youtube but when I was listening to the new version I was a bit confused as to if it was even the same song. Any help on where I can find a recording would be amazing.
i'm sure everyone who posts on these boards has the NYC bootlegs but i'll send them to you if u want, PM me ur email and i'll send them to you

It's not a concept CD is a studio recording. There is a concept CD but it's from many years ago. Concept implies that they are still working on it where as this CD is the final version of the show.
Who cares what I put it as. Point is that it is FINALLY out and we are all enjoying it.
