Sara hasn't started in Waitress yet so there probably won't be many reports on her yet...
As for others, Scarlett Johannsson was a real t**t when I went to Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, while Jessica Chastain was out of her way nice during her run in The Heiress.
Kinda depends on the person and their willingness to be kind etc

From what I've seen/read they tend to stagedoor a lot, as a rule. They're eager to connect with fans on that level, and they know that most people at the stagedoor will be there for them. (Even at something like Great Comet, about 50% leave after Groban's done)

Re: Emma Stone in Cabaret... I think it's somewhere on this board but I went that matinee when the woman from NJ got into this big shouting match... it might have been over an umbrella. Emma had to run for some awards show but she waved as she went to her car. No one else came out but that was a matinee.
I went to Sara's book signing (which is great, if you haven't read it) and she was very nice.
Emma Stone wasn't taking pictures(security said this in advance) when I went but she signed my playbill. I told her I enjoyed the show very much and she thanked me for coming to the show. I don't normally stage door but it was extremely cold that night and I thought it was nice enough that she stopped to sign and say hello when she didn't have to considering the weather.

I met Geoffrey Rush at stage door and he was nice enough. Someone asked him about Pirates of the Caribbean and he was quite happy to answer their question.
Last year Delta Goodrem (who is a really popular Australian singer) was in Cats and was an absolute sweetheart. My sister had sworn that Delta had winked at her during Jellicle Cats and when she saw us at stage door Delta asked, 'did you see me wink at you?!'. (Funnily enough Geoffrey Rush seemed to have no recollection of the extremely close and personal interaction we'd had with him in Forum!). We also saw her perform at a Christmas concert a few weeks prior and afterwards she was lying on the edge of the stage to reach her young fans and give them photos and autographs (in a ball gown and on Christmas Eve!) and when we told her we'd witnessed it and how sweet we thought it was she brushed it off like it was no big deal.
I've also met a few popular Aussie actors (Lisa McCune, Craig McLachlan and Hugh Sheridan) and all were lovely. Lisa chatted to us for ages, Craig took awhile to come out but was hilarious and pretended to be a fan of a football team to please a disabled fan and Hugh was even nice enough to film a shoutout video for my sister who was bummed to be missing the charity concert he'd organised.
Obviously though it's really going to depend on the individual!
Daniel Radcliffe was very gracious (as always) at the stage door after Equus.

What's a t**t? Is it anything like a c**t?? If so, maybe she acted that way because you were being a major d**k?? I've never known her not to be polite at the stage door.

She took pictures when I went.
I've heard some horror stories about Scarlett.
Also, Emma Stone didn't take pictures when I went either. I think she did the first week or two and then she stopped. She was incredibly kind and gracious with her time, though.
I found Bette to be a h**t and seemingly having fun when I staged doored her last Broadway outing. Stephen Fry (a celebrity to me) was completely charming and a total c******r. And the whole Hamilton cast were a bunch of c****-***s. But that's just my experience...

I give up----obviously I don't swear enough but am sure the above is a joke post.

It must be a joke, because the Hamilton cast were uniformly wonderful and gracious and what was an incredibly busy/demanding/stressful stagedoor (Including Anthony Ramos asking the crowd to just talk to him instead of staring 'cause it was getting a little creepy)
ahhh I'm so excited for Waitress and now I really hope she stage doors!!

Sara b isn't THAT big of a celebrity and being a celeb or not doesn't mean much except for crowdsize and pushiness.
With that said, 2 of the biggest stage door crowds I've been in were for Al Pacino and Bruce Willis. Pacino was extremely nice and spent a decent amount of time, was really happy when he came out. Willis also spent some time, but wasn't as outgoing.
''Have also met other big names and have had mainly excellent experiences like Helen Mirren. Michelle Williams, Jeff Daniels, live schreiber, forest whitaker, frank Langella.
Side note thuogh nathan lane is known to be not very friendly at all.

it depends on the celeb. But understand, celeb or not, that going to a matinee will lessen your chances of meeting folks - as they'll often stay inside to eat/rest.

What experiences have you guys had with Gavin Creel at stage door? Does he tend to come out for most performances? I'm seeing Dolly at the end of next month, and while I'm not holding my breath for Bette to come out, I'm really hoping to get to meet Gavin
Every time I have seen a show with him and stage doored he has come out and was very sweat. I actually saw him coming out last Saturday of the theatre and said "hi!" after he realized I knew who he was haha From what I know of Bette, she comes out as well.
It really does depend on the celebrity.
Zachary Levi would make a stagedoor playlist and play it on speakers. But he would only sign things from the show (First Date, She Loves Me) and would go around signing first before taking photos with anyone. He was very sweet though and stayed until everyone got what they wanted.
I agreed it does depend on the celebrity. I remember meeting Liam Neeson and Laura Linney at the stage door after the crucible, surprisingly only a few people staged door that night. Laura was a gracious as can be, I even got a photo with her and my friend. Liam was nice if you discussed the play with him. I remember, someone had star wars pics, and told the guy "What are you wasting your money at that **** for?, F*CK off with that". It was amazing. That majority have been very nice, the best was Alison Janney after 9 to 5. So sweet and lovely. I took a photo with her, and then she turned to my boyfriend, who was taking the photo and said to him "What you don't want a photo with me?, am I not good enough." He was so embarrassed. and of course I took a photo with the two of them.
