Posted: 5/5/12 at 9:40pmNice, but they'll probably have to simplify over time. May be too busy in a smaller version.

I think it looks pretty stellar in a smaller format, it actually makes them look like they sparkle

Posted: 5/6/12 at 7:53pmHas Cyndi Lauper put out any Demo Tracks or such for the music on this? Interested to see what style of Music they are using for this.

Posted: 5/6/12 at 7:57pmIt's too soon after Priscilla. I think it will get lost unless it's amazing.

Posted: 5/6/12 at 8:28pmOther than the involvement of drag queen culture, this has nothing in common with Priscilla. It has all original music. It's going to be great.

Possibly. But one could have said that Priscilla was too soon after La Cage, but it's managed to hang on over a year at the Palace.
I worry that Kinky Boots is not very well known as a movie (although one could say the same thing about Once) and the title (the "kinky" part) may make people think the show is more risque than it is.
I like the movie, though, and hope the show is a success. Actually, I hope the show is good... and that it's successful because it's good.

I wonder how many of the workshop cast will continue on to Chicago. Based on the casting notices, I assume that Stark and Billy are staying on.

Posted: 5/7/12 at 12:21amI think this show will be a huge hit in the West End and tank here. Thats usually how it works.

Posted: 5/7/12 at 1:17amThe fact the movie isn't too well known could help them. It's a pretty awful movie, it can only improve on that.

Posted: 5/7/12 at 9:48amI really enjoyed the movie! Not a fan of the logo, however. Hurts my eyes.
