It was suppose to be released today.
Where in NYC might I find it?? How much?? It is an import so it will be expensive.
Yes, if anyone knows, please post! I'd like to know as well.
Music recordings are almost always released on tuesdays. This seems to hold true for LOTR. It is due out tomorrow Feb 5th.

I ordered it from amazon.co.uk and it was sent out a couple of days ago!
Is that out? I'm so behind. I need to order mine today. Though, I've been listening to Little Mermaid non stop for the past few days.
As Robos89 says it has been released in the UK and you can order it from there or wait for tomorrow in the US. Even with the extra shipping it seems to be almost 25% cheaper from the UK.

will it be released at Virgin by tommorrow?
http://www.footlight.com/ has had it for a bit now.
I ordered mine yesterday.
I have it, but I'm interested in buying it for a friend. Does anyone think it will be in stores regionally tommorow? Even on itunes is fine.
I have searched on the barnes and noble, best buy, and circuit city websites, and they have nothing listed. The only place I could find it was on amazon.
I ordered mine from Amazon.com UK and I think its a lot cheaper from there (even with the shipping) then ordering it from the US Amazon.com I got the CD and the book The "Lord of the Rings" Official Stage Companion, with shipping my total was $52. The CD alone on amazon US is $41 Just my two cents. hope this helped.
The show didn't have any music. It was all ohing and ahing

I did order it from amazon.uk, and received notice that it was shipped. Hopefully, I will get it today. I'll let you know when.
I got mine on Saturday (thank you HMV!). Surprisingly, I found the the score was more paletable on CD than in the theatre - there's quite a few really nice tunes. There is a bit of sub-Enya wailing as well as some instrumental pieces that could have been lifted straight from the film, but quite a good album overall. I'm going round to a friend's house on Friday to try the DVD on their surround sound system...
What stores in New York City carry it??

Im confused is it just pitchless oohs and aahs? Because if they were pitched, it would still be music.
I'm sad that there is no recording of the original Toronto production. Especially Lothlorien sung by Rebecca Jackson Mendoza. The best song in that production.
^ I agree. Her voice was one of the most powerful voices I've ever heard. I'd love a professional recording of her singing "Lothlorien".
Is it on iTunes? I cant find it...

Notice how in that last post it was written as "$20" notice the dollar sign.
What is the music like, is like the Les Mis/Phantom all sung through? Is it any good?
