If possible, may I ask suggestions of a few Broadway tunes that would be easy to teach to kids ranging in age from 6 - 8 years of age? I know stuff from Annie would be fun for them but, what other songs with minor choreography would work?

Posted: 6/6/10 at 6:39pmMy favorite Broadway song to teach little guys is "Tender Shepherd" from Peter Pan. That way, you can teach kids how to sing a round which is an easy introduction to harmony singing without doing too much work. "Oh, What A Beautiful Morning" from Oklahoma is also a good choice because most kids already know it. The kids that I have taught usually like songs that they already know- mostly from movies, like "Mamma Mia" or "Grease". I hope that helps!
