It is a little obvious, but Harvey Fierstein's voice, to me is not entertaining or interesting, it is just plain annoying.

Marissa Jaret Winokur-I so prefer Nikki Blonsky, and I never prefer the cast of movie musicals!
Colm Wilkonson's voice can just get sooo ridiculously dramatic on the Les Miz recording: it's gorgeous, but I sometimes find myself laughing at how melodramatic he is.
Leigh Ann Larkin's voice in the Gypsy revival also really bothered me-speaking and singing, she seemed really unnatural next to Laura Benanti.

Marissa Jaret Winokur makes my ears bleed. Her songs on the Hairspray Original Broadway Cast Recording are the only ones I don't listen.

Beradette Peters sings like a mouse. At the tony awards, she couldn't even say 'for me' in rose's turn correctly. She was like "For Mbe, For Mbe". I hate everything about her. Her voice sounds forced too.
