hi it me again bryan. i this that lennon and good vibrations cast member should go to the people who put the shows on and say we want a cast cd made of the show because we want it and the pubilc need it.

Bryan, I talked to the CEOs of the record companies.

They told me they're not going to make cast recordings of GOOD VIBRATIONS or LENNON...because they don't like you.

In defense of Cats.... it reallly doesn't take that long to search for threads, and I'm sure there were about 50 more that he COULD have linked to. Face it, some shows aren't going to get cast recordings. It's a shame, but its reality. Record Companines would never make back the amount of money they'd invest in creating a CD for a show like Good Vibrations. At the end of the day, its a business...

Who cares if he keeps writing these threads? You know what they are going to say. You don't have to read them and you don't have to respond to them either.

He's just trying to get a rise out of you and piss you off. Some of you are such easy marks. It doesn't take much to get you "all up in arms."

Why would we even need a Good Vibrations or Lennon CD? Just go buy "The Best of The Beach Boys" or "The Best Of John Lennon".

Or get two really crappy CDs. It's the same thing.

You beat me too it, I was just gonna say the same thing.

If I want to hear John Lennon's music I just open my CD book. Maybe it's just my aversion to Beatles/Lennon/McCartney covers. But I'd much rather hear the original than someone ruining it by belting too much and extending notes that were already perfect in John's way.

And (I know we shouldn't be discussing it) but, I am positive there are some song clips/videos/live performances lingering on Limewire or what have you.

And, Phantom2, in bryan's first post, I must say there were a few unnecesarry remarks, but most were pretty kind about it. It's the fact that he posts about these CDs etc to no apparent end that gets people in pissy moods.

i just want to say that out of the news muiscals on broadway for june 1 2004 - may 31, 2005 two shows did not get a cast recoreding done and they were good vibrations and dracula but i know that a few form london did not have a broadway cast cd made but they had a london one done. so we need to get good vibrations a cast cd so it does not fade away forever.
