It's okay-I like you NYBroadwayNY! Took the words right out of my mouth.
Oops, BalletGirl might get some people mad by letting out those dirty secrets (which are ALL true....sick, isnt' it?)...but then again, most of those people are so crazy obsessed with Wicked that they wouldn't read this board ever because Wicked is the only thing on Broadway.
That's not true. I've had many encounters on this board with wickedfan3303050 and wickedrocks84389189. Great kids. Updated On: 7/29/04 at 09:18 PM
Thanks, SticktoPriest!
And NYBroadwayNY...I don't have a problem with all Wicked fans. I'm not gonna lie, I too am a fan of stuff. Being a fan is okay. But it's a certain of level of fandom that qualifies as INSANITY. If you literally can't talk about anything other than Wicked, Kristin or Idina...come on. That's just sick. If we're having a conversation about, oh, Capri Sun and somehow you manage to work the word CHENO into that conversation...there's a problem!!
Most of the Wicked fans are young teens who get excited easily. They'll grow out of it. It's the 20-something Cheno fans who only have one thing on their brains (CHENO CHENO CHENO CHENO CHENO CHENO CHENO) who make me want to shove my head in a toilet and drown.
You honestly can't say that if you sit in your room and photoshop pictures of yourself and Cheno so that it looks like she is kissing you, you're not a little crazy. Because people have done that. I've seen the results. It's a scary, SCARY thing. Try spending more than 10 minutes in a group of these 20-something insane obsessed fans. You'll start looking for something sharp to play with. Yes, more than 10 minutes with Cheno fans will make you want to *gasp* run with scissors.
I say wicked fans should be called Ozians. That is one of the best, i refer to myself as an Ozian.

Thanks Balletgirl85.
I totally agree and I understand that teenagers and just that. Teenagers. They get excited and do crazy things. I don't call them idiots or freaks for such things. That's just being immature.
Yes, I think someone can go too far with their excitement. But after all, the word FAN is short for FANATIC....

I think we should call them Flying Monkeys.........jk

I do hate little kids in broadway theatres. Especially the kind that sit right behind you and talk through "Defying Gravity". I wanted to start throwing sharp things at them. Don't bring little kids to see shows. If you do, teach them some respect. I was taught as a young child that the show starts at the overture and you are to be quiet and enjoy the show. Why are children not taught this anymore?
Oh. My. God. I just read the post about putting yourself in a picture looking like Cheno is kissing you. Ahahah that's wicked funny!!! Because, talking about crazed Cheno fans, makes me think of crazed Catherine Zeta- Jones fans. Let me tell you, there some of them. I used to post on a forum on a fansite for her, and some of the things they said(fantasies, dreams, orgies...) creeped me out.
Personally, I like Shizkids.

OMG we had a little kid behind us during LSOH...asked questions about the show THE ENTIRE TIME. "DADDY, what's a semi-sadist?? Wheres Levittown?? Why are they laughing at 12-inch screen?" And the father would ANSWER! My row was like errr....can you please be quiet, or at least whisper!

I love the musical "Wicked" and I've never seen it. Our entire theatre group loves it and only one or two people have actually seen it.
My question is: Why does there have to be a name for Wicked fans? Why can't you just ask: "Do you like Wicked?" and leave it at that? Can we spell overcomplicated?

Because there's a Wicked fan born every minute, I vote for "Suckers." It's got three of the letters from the show's title right in it!

Its not a big deal to name Wicked fans. I mean, a lot of shows have names for the fans. Some are cute names, and some show the cult-like personalities of some groups.
And not all Kristin fans are insane. A lot definetly are. But there is that official fan group called Glitter something-or-others, and its really nice because they give money to charities from the Kristin shirts and stuff that they sell.
I had no clue there were obsessive Idina fans. Ive never noticed any at the shows. But that could just be me.
Although, one girl for Norbert pushed me until she could get to the perfect spot at the stage door and even stood where you arnt supposed to and the security guard kept telling her to move but she wouldnt. Then she started crying and shaking insanly when he came out the door. It was...interesting.
I really like Shiznit and shizkids for the younger ones. Those name are too cute.

Once again, you do realize that greenies are amphetamines, right? If you want to be named after drugs, have fun, Elpheba fans. It does make a certain amount of sense.
