"Does Karen Olivo have the dancing chops for Kiss of the Spiderwoman? Just asking because I know she was criticized for her dancing in West Side Story."
I don't think dancing would be a problem for her in Spiderwoman. She is a competent dancer, and the choreography for that show is not really iconic in any way and thus would not be recreated from the original. A new choreographer would be able to tailor movement to her abilities and make her shine, rather than trying to force her into iconic, and very difficult, choreography that everybody knows.
Neil Patrick Harris in Barnum. He wants to do it, and I WANT HIM TO DO IT!!! ASAP, por favor....
As for the answers already posted here, the following choices gave me CHILLS and wow, I'd love to see these! GREAT answers! Deathtrap with Garber and Radcliffe, and Benedict Cumberbatch as Amadeus (I ONLY just discovered him as Sherlock Holmes through Netflix and was like "Where have YOU been all my life?"
"Whenever I get gloomy with the state of the world, I think about the arrivals gate at Heathrow Airport. General opinion's starting to make out that we live in a world of hatred and greed, but I don't see that. It seems to me that love is everywhere. Often it's not particularly dignified or newsworthy, but it's always there - fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, husbands and wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, old friends. When the planes hit the Twin Towers, as far as I know none of the phone calls from the people on board were messages of hate or revenge - they were all messages of love. If you look for it, I've got a sneaky feeling you'll find that love actually is all around."
Donna Murphy as Elizaveta Jessica Lee Goldyn (for an unknown) or Sutton (for a more well known) as Flaemmchen Raul Esparza as the Baron, though he might be too old...
but I can't seem to cast the rest.
Give me a bottle of bourbon and half a chicken and I'll conquer the world!
Kiss of the Spider Woman starring Beyonce. The role doesn't require much in the acting department besides looking beautiful and seducing Molina/the audience, and she'd sing and dance the sh*t out of that role. She'd sell crazy amounts of tickets, but she'd also be legitimately brilliant IMO.
actormcfamous, Beyonce in KISS is an inspired idea imho. We'd probably end up with Michelle Williams alas.....
Since Normal Heart has had such extraordinary acclaim, the time might be right for a revival of FALSETTOS? Bryan D'Arcy James as Marvin Leslie Kritzer or Stephanie D'Abruzzo as Trina Norbert Leo Butz as Mendel Aaron Tveit or Ryan Silverman as Whizzer Mary Testa as Dr Charlotte Leigh Ann Larkin as Cordelia
I wish they'd make an full-scale revival of "Anyone Can Whistle" with Sutton Foster, Raul Esparza, Donna Murphy (and Casey Nicholaw directing, of course)--if for nothing else but to make a cast recording.
I'd really also like to see a revival of "Sunday in the Park with George", and "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum." But I don't know who to cast. Laura Benanti is pretty enough to play Philia, and she's Italian (I hope, based on that last name) so she'd fit in as a Roman. But Philia isn't really the important character in "A Funny Thing...". Could Kelli O'Hara do Dot in "Sunday in the Park"? She doesn't have a Bernadette-type voice, but that doesn't mean she couldn't do it.
Christiane Noll as Eliza in "My Fair Lady". Stephen Ashfield (original Bob Gaudio in the West End production of "Jersey Boys") would be an awesome Freddy, in my opinion. I heard him sing "On the Street Where You Live" and I loved it. For me, he has the right amount of dorky-yet-charming guy.
Falsettos Brian D'arcy james or jay robert spencer as marvin Aaron tviet as whizzer. Katie finneran as cordelia Emily skinner as charlotte Idina menzel, leslie kritzer or julia murney as trina Norbert Leo Butz as mendel (He's born to play the part.) Jason: MUST be unknown
Seussical: Neil Patrick Harris as the Cat in the Hat Josh Gad as Horton Patina Miller as the Sour Kangaroo Sherie Renee Scott as Gertrude Laura Benanti/Kristen Chenowith as Mayzie Jojo....I dont know
If there's a revival of She Loves Me, I'd like it to star most of the cast from the 2008 Huntington Theatre production. Benanti is intriguing as Amalia, but I'd really love to see Kate Baldwin do it again.
When I see the phrase "the ____ estate", I imagine a vast mansion in the country full of monocled men and high-collared women receiving letters about productions across the country and doing spit-takes at whatever they contain.

"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe."
