Not interested in plays?!?! Oh, my god, what is the world of theater coming to?? When people interested in theater stop finding interest in straight plays, something is wrong. Don't get me wrong; I love musicals, but plays, especially dramas, are such a mind-opener and can hit a chord that a musical can't. It's something about the seriousness of a drama and the quietness and lack of music that draws me in.

i would never have the problem because i only get up to ny so often, but if i was ever caught in that dilemma- when in doubt go to fifth ave., or madison; my favorite two streets in new york other than bway! the shoppin in ny is uh-mazing
cant shop too much after trying to rush shows.... stores close early off season! no fun!
Not only that, but I rush shows and try to get lottery tickets because I am poor. If I could afford shopping, especially on Madison and 5th avenue, I would just buy regular $100 tickets to shows whenever I want and avoid the hassle of day of tickets!
And to Albin- I donated blood last week, regularly volunteer at a soup kitchen, and work with 1200 kids in my school on a daily (including weekends) basis. Please don't think so poorly of me!

I really would give plays another chance if I were you. Twelve Angry Men was good, and I've heard great things about 'Night, Mother.
Yea, that's really sad. You must see 'night, Mother. It's a pity you probably missed I AM MY OWN WIFE.
You're only posting here Munk, casue i do. I know what you did last summer, watch out!
"Aren't those the new lyrics to I Am What I Am?"
You are correct, sir.
you took that well. i like you. lol. And just for the record... i do like plays. I still havent seen Night mother, or 12AM.. but i know Scott Ellis (I choreograph all of his sister's shows) so im looking forward to that. Has he been around the theatre lately. (hes the director of both the show, and the theatre..)
