along with our predictions, if we are to include "should win" can we also include which shows we HAVE NOT seen that are also nominated in the category? It's nice to have perspective.

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

OK, I am getting desperate now. TVU just doesn't work on my computer, it just lags etc.

Does anyone know of any other way I can watch the Tony's in the UK?

Thanks!!

Can you get it on www.tonyawards.com direct? Or do you need to login thru TVU?

Cast albums are NOT "soundtracks."
Live theatre does not use a "soundtrack." If it did, it wouldn't be live theatre!

I host a weekly one-hour radio program featuring cast album selections as well as songs by cabaret, jazz and theatre artists. The program, FRONT ROW CENTRE is heard Sundays 9 to 10 am and also Saturdays from 8 to 9 am (eastern times) on www.proudfm.com

"However, for the benefit of those fans across the globe who do not have access to the broadcast, our website coverage of the Tony Awards is live."

From the Tony website. I can't seem to see if I can watch the actual telecast on their website or just get random bulletins etc. I don't want to stay up till 1am for nothing our Tony predictions

"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe." -John Guare, Landscape of the Body
