pets named after charecters in a show....

i was just wondering if anyone has named a pet after a charecter in a show? i got my bunny right after i saw wicked so i named her elphaba....anyone else?
You alone can make my song take flight, help me make the music of the night..... Kiss me goodbye I'm defying gravity.... Mother said straight ahead no to delay or be mislead...

I named my Chick-Fil-A cow "Shakespeare."

I have two black labs.........both are named for a variety of reasons, including theater related.

BEAU ---- partially in honor of Beauregard Jackson Pickett Burnside from MAME

and

MABEL to whom I often sing "Look What Happened to Mabel" from MACK AND MABEL.

By the way, they are very pleased that you started this thread and give you two paws way up!

Not a character, but I forced one of my friends to name her hamster Roger.
Actually, the same friend is now getting a pug and naming it Bernie.
...I'm sure Roger Bart and Bernadette Peters are honored.

My two cats have been renamed (unknown to anyone else in my family) Roger and Gary. Well, technically, those are actors...but...yeah.

When I was younger, I had about 24 cats (most were strays, but I called them mine, because I fed them, and some would have their babies in my house.) The majority of them I named from shows. There was Evita, Cosette, Eponine, Phantom (cuz of the white and black mix on his face), and the two ugly cats were Thenardier and Hannigan.
"Do you know what pledge time is, Andrew"? said the PBS Executive. "Yes", Lloyd Webber replied. "My 50th birthday special must be one program that gets done a lot." "No", mused the man from PBS heedlessy. "Not so much. Our Stephen Sondheim Carnegie Hall concert. That's a big one." Spoons, forks and knives seemed suddenly to suspend their motion in horror, all around the table.

well it's not a pet, but my car is named rod from avenue q, and my cell phone is maureen from rent :)

Oh yeah, I just remembered this: I named the two turtles that my Biology teacher has Roger and Carmen. They have very... active... lives.

Anyway, I still need a name for my cell phone...

I had this one cat and I named it Grizabella, but no one else could remember the name or say it right when I told them, later I change it's name to Gizmo, after that I found out it was a male all along(I know who to tell, but with this long haired cat, you could tell) anyways, he died after that


However, If I ever get a Weenie Dog, I'm going to name it Sweeney Todd...probably just calling it one or the other for short....anyways, I think that's a cute name for a little weenie dog.

BTW, I'm a standby now!!!!!!!!!!

I want to name my next dog Princeton. Its just a cute name for a dog.

My kitty's name is Algernon after Algernon Montcrieff in The Importance of Being Earnest.

I got a cat when I was working for an actress in a show called THE CEMETERY CLUB, which was about three widows. I named the cat Murray Moskowitz, after the dead husband of my actress's character.

I have a Betta fish, his name is Carol Channing. We never call him just carol. its always carol channing.

My puppy's registered name is Brier's Evening Primrose. A little bit of Sondheim there. I gave her the name because I liked the sound of it. The Sondheim connection is secondary, but a nice association nonetheless.

I named one of my cats Cosette... I thought it was such a cute name for a cat...

I wanted to name one of the other ones Finch (from H2$) because I thought it was adorable... but nobody agreed with me. re: pets named after charecters in a show....

When I was little, I had a cat named Pepper (from ANNIE). And I briefly had a dog named Kimbrough, after Charles K. . . Now I have cats named Opie and Ella, after Nancy Opel and Ella Fitzgerald.
