I bought two pairs of tickets for Hamilton (next March) but am unsure which to give my daughter based on seating ... One is row B orchestra -- seats 13 &15 so very close but will miss a little due to the angle. The other pair is row N orchestra -- seats 26 & 28.
Part of me thinks she will be so thrilled to be so close that she won't care about what's missed .. the other part of me thinks it's better to see the full stage.
Thoughts?
I've seen the show (Jan 2016 from the center mezz) so could use some help here. Thank you for your help! Rachel
Who gets the other seats? If it's you, pick which ones you'd rather and give her the others. ![]()

If you are sitting in the other section, you could always switch with her at intermission if she wants. Oh, and you're an awesome parent!
I think the better seats are the closer ones....and I'm not one to "need" to sit up close. However, they are only 7 and 8 seats from the aisle.....vs row n being 13 and 14 seats over.

First of all, you're an awesome mom! As to your question, I would prefer row B 13&15 as they are more centrally located than the seats on row N. If I recall correctly, 26&28 are at the very side of the theater. I'm sure she will love either set though!

The closer you are to the stage on either left or right orchestra, your seats get worst as you move away from center. The orchestra right and left are very narrow in the front and gets wider as you move further back, so even the 5th seat in from the center aisle in the first 4 rows is a horrible view. As you get further back, especially Row N, even the seat against the wall is full view.
Views are ONLY comparable when you're talking about center orchestra as the entire section is centered so your view changes depending on which row you're sitting in regardless of seat number.
I am seeing Hamilton in Sept. I went to the Box Office in Jan when I was in New York seeing other shows and the lady at the ticket booth said she had 2 seats available that were partial view.for Sept 23rd The next available were in late Oct so I grabbed those two as I didnt want another cold weather visit. lol They are Box E seats 1 and 2. Can anyone say how these seats will be. I am just grateful I was able to come back. I got Hello Dolly tickets that same day for Sept 22nd
Box E is an upper box. You will see fine from there, but you will up fairly high and looking down on the performers' heads. The show is staged front and center for the most part, so you'll miss only brief scenes on the far side. You should be able to see the entire upper level of the stage.

I would put in a strong word in favour of row N. The closest I've sat to date is row F, and I found it just on the edge of too close - great for all the detail of the actors faces, but almost overwhelming and it was starting to get hard to take in the whole stage. I would not want to sit any closer than that, especially if it was my first time seeing the show.
I also sat in M12, and found it a very good seat. I did not feel like I was too far back, and the RR is very raked so your sightlines are excellent. Considering B13 and B15 could very well be partial views, I feel like you'll get a much better view from N26. Unless N26 was marked as partial view or obstructed? You don't want to miss the far stage left, you lose some great symbolism blocking and all of Schuyler Defeated. But based on the maps I'm looking at the view should be fine.
The boxes are great for being close, but you won't be able to see action on the top level that is on the side of the stage closest to you.
You will have ridiculous legroom and an amazing view of everything
Thank you guys for the info on Box E. I am so looking forward to the trip.
