I have to say that i actually liked a lot of the orchestrations of the songs in Good Vibrations so i wish they had have recorded it. The show was a hot mess but i do love the music.
Namo i love u but we get it already....you don't like Madonna

As Hunter says in [title of show] "I have opinions on things I never have seen or heard off". And I would love to hear a recording of Lysistrata Jones but I do not see that happening.

Please let's keep this nice, folks.

Hi, Bryan! Welcome back! I would've loved a Broadway recording of SISTER ACT. Or even just the added song for Victoria Clark. Loved that number...

Didn't Lysistrata Jones announce a recording already? There's a page for it on the website. Seems ridiculous for them to release the rights and go through the trouble of adapting the script for the "varsity edition" without a reference recording.

I agree with iluvtheatertrash! I wanted a Broadway version of Sister Act so bad!! I saw the show and the voices were just amazing. Maybe one day it will happen!

I thought BILLY ELLIOT should have had a Broadway cast recording, what with the changes that were made to the score. And I think the London recording is simply horrible; it all sounds so over-produced and "in-studio". It really doesn't capture the show or make you feel like you are in the theater when you are listening, like a good cast recording should.

As for show that were never recorded; CARRIE (but that may happen now), THE YEARLING, and the Sandy Duncan PETER PAN.

My choices are hardly original--obviously I'll pick Tales of the City. I also admit, with some embarassment, I wish that Lestat recording would get released.

A long time back there was rumour of a studio recording for Ashman/Menken's first musical, God Bless You Mr Goldwater. I know some on here hate the show (there's a pretty awful community production with clips on youtube), but I find the score charming and in some spots very moving and would love if it could happen.

This is pretty obscure, but I'd love a recording of all the finalized songs from the Sondheim/Goldman movie musical that was planned, Singing Out Loud. We've gotten three of them but not performed at all in the complexly written versions shown in Look, I Made a Hat. The movie sounds like it would never be made now, and due to its conceit would be too expensive, but...

I want a proper studio recording of 1600 Penn Ave. I know we got SOME of the stuff, operatically sung as White House Cantata or something, but that doesn't do it for me.

I'm sure there are more I'm completely blanking on...

Oh and damnit that I still have no edit feature--I know it's a lot to ask, and we've been lucky with our recordings, but I want all of laChiusa's major works recorded--Petrified Prince, Nutcracker, Highest Yellow, Lovers and Friends (Chautauqua Variations)... I assume we will hear one for Giant.
