I'll have to add, from N2N, during "I am the One" when Gabe first comes in with the line, "Hey dad, it's me..." It's so soft and beautiful. It grabs me every time I hear it or while watching it during my daily download of the Tony performance on youtube.
I saw HAIR on Thursday and it is full of these moments. One that I remember in particular was during "My Conviction" when she/he sings that long note during "aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa-ctually" it's fantastic! Also, during "Where Do I Go?"--I guess this is more staging wise than song-wise--when the tribe starts stripping off their clothes as Claude stands in the corner singing the best part of the song, it's such a breathtaking and haunting stage moment. There is so much that is said during that stage picture. It's fascinating to watch, not because of the nakedness but because of how haunting that moment becomes, it's a perfect mix of staging and music. I would definitely say that the moment in "I Am the One" when Alice Ripley sings "You say you hurt like me, you say that you know, BUUUUUUUT you don't knoooooooow" is so thrilling. I'm seeing the show tonight by the way, for the first time, I'm really excited. Finally, in "Lot's Wife" when Caroline holds that long note on "slam go the iron, slam go the iron, flat, flat, flat, flaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat." I can't stop myself from getting chills.
"Some people can thrive and bloom living life in a living room, that's perfect for some people of one hundred and five. But I at least gotta try, when I think of all the sights that I gotta see, all the places I gotta play, all the things that I gotta be at"

Thank you :)
~*I've heard it said, that people come into our lives for a reason, bringing something we must learn and we are led, to those who help us most to grow, if we let them, and we help them in return*~
Among the many in Chorus Line: 1) "At the Ballet" when Maggie hits the money note, the mirrors turn and the lights come up. Chilling. 2) "Music and the Mirror" the final sung "Dance"
