Cause it matches Mano's Pj's.

It's pretty obvious that whoever took the sliders were a fan of Mano's, and so I think he feels responsible for their disapperance. And in respect for the theatre and the rest of the cast/crew he felt he should do something about it.

If you check out the marquise, that color is used. It surrounds "Sweeney Todd" and Michael's eyes in the razor.

To all those that say "I'm sure they can replace it, no big deal" Would you say the same thing if someone came in and took props or wardrobe from the shows? It's a company cost that DOES cost real money to replace these things. Those costs DO get passed on to you, the theatre patron. Next time you bitch about a high ticket price, just remember it was OK for those sliders to be stolen, suck up the cost of the ticket and be glad YOU paid for the replacements.

This is just the type of thing that can turn a very fan-friendly actor into one that is more guarded.

I'd be pissed if I were him too. I have to say though, I've always thought it looked easy to steal those things, not that I ever would.
