MOXIE, was it you who once asked what the deal was with people being that "friendly" with bway people to the extents of myspace? I'm trying to remember, I believe I once heard some derrogatory remark or inquisition of the sorts...Just curious

In my opinion, although stupid, it could have been worse. The stagedoor "design" is beautiful and that hasn't been touched. I know the perpetrator was probably a crazy fan and wouldn't deface the pictures, but lets just be happy that nothing more important was touched

BSo, don't lie. You sleep with that thing under your pillow.

Bitch. Now I need to find a new spot for it.

Maybe THAT'S why he's so upset. WINK... (Just kidding)

I'm glad Mano said something. That was a very disrespectful thing to do to the cast of that show - and to the theater as well.

Would the sliders be a cool souvie - yes. But if and ONLY if they were obtained, um, legally. Don't they sell stuff like that at the BC/EFA Flea Market?

BSo, if he was THAT upset, he knows he just has to ask around on the love thread to fix that!
In the next few weeks someone is probably going to be selling those illegally.

If I went to the extent to steal it, I would not sell that thing. Except if it was me, I would have taken em all! Why stop there?
Becoz_i_knew_you21, that is a sure-fire way to get caught, so I doubt it.

Funnygirl, yes, they do. They always go very quickly!

Disrespect was done to the place of their work, and on whatever scale, that's just not cool.

If you look at the bright side, it's more of a compliment to their work (albeit weird and twisted). The person loved their performances so much that stupid pieces of plastic with the actors' names on them had enough personal value for the person to want to steal them.

Hehe, in a way, that's kind of true. Though, even if it's flattery, I can see why that would totally weird him out!
If you would have taken' them all, that would probably be a little noticable. Imagine sombody walking around with huge sliders sticking out from a bag of some kind.
This cast is setting a new trend in its speaking out when people are disrespectful. Let's hope that future casts follow in this regard and that audience members quit stealing, and start turning their darn cell phones off during performances.

if you appreciate the show that much...stop by the stage door and say so. write a letter. DON'T be psycho.

Well, they have to have AT LEAST one extra set around for them to put up on the understudy board in case one of them is out because Sweeney puts up both names, so for the time being, they could use that...I guess.

Next time I am at the theatre I will steal the Stage Manager's slider.

I love your work, man! You call them cues like none other.

Okay thanks, I just wanted to be sure before I started making assumptions and drawing conclusions to what I read.

So I guess I'm the only one who doesn't know what sliders look like?

Scroll up; someone posted a photo.
They're the name plates that 30/90 Playout posted a picture of above.

Found this pic online, other was mine, but that is where they were taken from.
Michael and Patti's are welded to the board; that's why they weren't stolen. Mano and Lauren's were the consolation theft.

I'm actually suprised nobody caught them. It seems like it would actually take some work to take them. Unless maybe they went out during the performance?

I'm suprised this hasn't happened at Wicked yet. I guess it's too high for the teenage girls to reach?

Orangeskittles - that's what I was about to post. I think I'd feel kind of special in a way. It's disrespectful, but flattering at the same time. It's not like they spray painted something like "Mano Sucks" across his picture.

Does anyone else think sliders probably get stolen all the time, but there usually isn't such a big deal made out of it?
