There is that Gazillion Bubble Show that is playing off-Broadway. I haven't seen it, but i hve heard that families have been going and enjoying it.
And of course, The Grinch is playing again. Kids LOVE that one.

At least you don't have to worry about Phantom going anywhere, since chances are it isn't going to close anytime soon! Hopefully you get to see it with Howard Mcgillin though, I saw him play the phantom and he was phenomenal, I went back specifically to see him and caught his understudy (it was a little disappointing)...
Theres also Young Frankenstein, although it maybe a little over her head...

Posted: 11/26/07 at 10:50pmThanks for the input guys.. Maybe I will "run into" one of you in Times Square...I know you New Yorkers just love us tourists! My daughter will love listening to you guys talk,...She thinks its cool how you say Hot Dog more like hot DAWG. And chicken tenders are tendas....I think she secretly wants to move there when she is older and develop what she thinks is the coolest way to talk. Have a good night guys..I am off to try to sleep away the minutes...I hate waiting....Italian impatience....

If I was you, the second I got to NYC (assuming the strike is over by then), I would head to the Majestic Theatre and see if you could get your tickets exchanged for another performance this week. Phantom usually has house seats reserved that aren't released to the general public until 48 hours before a performance (and they usually are in prime locations), but I bet they will go fast with all the people who I imagine will be attempting to exchange their tickets. Anyway, it is something to try before you get tickets to something else. I'd have a "back-up plan" in mind though in case Phantom doesn't have anything when you get there or, God forbid, the strike is still going on.

Y'all have a good nite! Had to throw the southern talk at ya!

There was a short interview with Cohn from about 9:00 when they took a break. He said they were "closer than they were 24 hours ago" and hoped to have an announcement by "daybreak."

I don't seem to get any freaking national news here in Iowa! CNN is just talking about politics, and no other station here does national news. Stupid.
I'm still hopeful though!

"Charlotte St. Martin, Executive Director of The League, told cameras: "We're hoping for a successful conclusion." Network news sources say the issue of load-in has been resolved. However, issues of continuity hours and mopping duties are still being discussed."
That sounds promising! But the quote about mopping duties just cracks me up. I know it's an important issue in the overall big picture...but it's just mopping haha

"Mopping duties are still being discussed."
Do these people realize how ridiculous they sound with these quotes? Between yesterday's spreadsheets quote, and now this one, it really makes you wonder if we're in the twilight zone. I mean really...mopping is what is holding this up?
Here's an idea...they all need to order that automatic mopper from the Sharper Image catalogue. Problem solved.
