I love America. Just because I think gay dudes should be allowed to adopt kids and we should all have hybrid cars doesn't mean I don't love America.

I always wondered who would cover for Larry should he be out.
Hope he's okay!
I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.
I was always surprised there was no understudy listed for Larry in the Playbill.
Well, it looks like tonight will be this guy's third performance, so I'm sure he'll have it down pat.
Poor Larry. I hope everything is OK!

Let me know how John is! I felt like a fool thursday night because I spoke to Hunter later that night and he was like "John went on" silence "For Larry". I;'d never heard his name before! Anyways, happy b-day to Jeffy Bowez. WHo else loves that video of him on the blog?

Anyone know if the show's doing OK? I saw the show last night, and all the actors looked kind of shaken. That, coupled with the fact that I got a front row center seat for half price, made me wonder if closing is imminent...
The front row center goes to the lottery, so you're lying.
Welcome, by the way.

Me and a fellow late night stage door-er were wondering the same thing when they had a meeting. Apparently it was nothing involving that though. PS-lotto thursday night- more seats then there were people. PSS-kind of shaken? care to elaborate?
They got emotional during "9 People's" and "Finale" when I saw it 2 weeks ago.
I think that is just due to the emotional momentum of the evening building to those 2 songs as there is no intermission break, if that is in fact what "shaken" is referring to.

Attended the Saturday matinee today (with John on the keys). And it's still kicking.
Occurred to me, as I sat in the last row center orchestra (perfect seat, because you can see everyone in front of you having a good time), that even though the house is only 45% full.... it's 45% of the people who should and want to be there. Which is far better than the other option. Good energy this afternoon, same laughs and tireless passion.
The whole Orchestra sprung to its feet at curtain call.
The show is as wonderful as ever.
John playing "John" was great!
Before Jeff came out of the stage door, we notified all the fans that it was his birthday, and the second he came out, we all sang "Happy Birthday" to him!
