I was there tonight!
Second to last row of the Orchestra on the Left.
The whole Orchestra sprung to its feet at curtain call.
The show is as wonderful as ever.
John playing "John" was great!
Before Jeff came out of the stage door, we notified all the fans that it was his birthday, and the second he came out, we all sang "Happy Birthday" to him!
Awww! That's so sweet. I wish I could've been there.
How'd Jeffy respond?
I can't say for sure, because i'm sure if it was they wouldn't have came out the stagedoor and told the first 2 people they saw. They told me what it was regarding - and I'm really angry that I forget what. For some reason i'm thikning they said something along the lines of 'script' or 'writing'.
I saw the show for a second time this afternoon... Larry was back, and it was another excellent performance. An extremely enthusiastic audience.
I sat there wondering, "How the hell could anyone not like this show?".
Even in terms of insidery humor... my father, who knows very little about the theatre community, loved the show. Did he get Mary Stout getting hit by a hot dog cart, or "Don't say that, of course you were meant to have children"? Absolutely not. But he loved the show.

That's a GREAT analogy. Plus, even [tos] jokes that I don't get, I still find funny. I'm not sure why, I just do.
I got most of the references, but you're right.. even if you DON'T get it, you will laugh. Because either the context is funny, the delivery, etc. My dad laughed at nearly everything... even without knowing.
I sent my parents to the evening show of [tos] tonight and they just got out. They called me and said they loved it! YAY.
Stories like these make me so happy.
Kind of like the elephant wonder woman Jeffy colored.

I saw Title of Show for the second time Friday night, and I have to say that, from what I could see, the audience looked pretty full! I was very excited to see that because the first time I saw the show (the saturday before) the theater was abot half full. I just wanted to say, that I love this show so much-as most of you do too-duh this is the TOS love thred...but I just loved it so much! When I went to see it on Friday, the audience was so amazing, espeically compared to the "amazing" audience I had last fiday (AKA, I was in the balcony and there was not a person under 60 that I could see). I was lucky enough to get 4th row orchestra for $48.50-which might not actually be a great sign for the show...but the performance was great! I loved EVERY minute of it! It is definitely my favorite show on Broadway! But, one thing, that isn't so great about the show is, if you have a bad audience, like I did (older ladies who did not understand anything and got upset when I laughed at the jokes)the show isn't as fun or funny as when you get an amazing audience who is laughing with you and gets the jokes!
But tos is amzaing, and I really really hope it stays on much longer than expected!
So, apparently me and about 4 or 5 of my friends are doing lotto on Saturday. If we can't get tickets for Xanadu, that is (I love Xanadu but I'd really rather see [tos] again).
Hey [tossers]!
Sorry I haven't been on here in awhile but I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Labor Day!
Also... I was thinking that we all need to something fun for the cast. A lot of us on here have YT vids about the show but what if we ALL did something that included [tossers] EVERYWHERE?
If you have a webcam or video camera, make a minute or so clip of [tos]love and email it to me and then I will edit them all together to make a really cool and fancy vid for the cast!
What do y'all think?
Let me know.
Oh and if you don't have a cam, no biggie, I'm always in the city and we can do a quick little "interview" if you would like...

WonderRobbie, that does sound interesting. I'll start working on that!
What if... the video was, for example, Nine People's Favorite Thing, made of clips of people singing small portions of the song, edited together?
AMAZING idea Robbie! I'm totally going to get on that.
Is it just general love or should there be a specific topic?
When should I do it by?
hey everybody! Just wanted to stop in and say how much I love [tos]. I don't get to see the show untill December (just a downside to living in Ky.) But I'm completley in love with the cd. This musical is just so amazing. I'm so excited to see it live!
:)
I was thinking that it would be a video of all of us thanking the cast or saying what is it about [tos] that we love...
Maybe a song inspired you to do something or picks you up when you're low... or something along that.

Sounds like a great idea...
I like a video of people singing 9 people's favorite thing too!
Crazily enough Robbie I was thinking of a very similar thing recently and hadn't had a chance to post it yet.
I was going to post a video and ask people to do a video response. Something along the lines of 'This is what I love about [tos]' 'What do you like about it?' Call and answer vid!
I was thinking it could be a great way to spread the word that it's not just insider references it's actually about heart, and that if you have a dream you'll love [tos] haha
So I'm willing to tack in.
Sean
PS: Has everyone seen my latest ep, with a special lil cameo! There are going to be a few more cameo's this season- we're kinda getting a bit bigger out here and starting to meet people- which rocks! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tEmiSAietLI
Jerseyboyschick2 I'm in New York in December too- I'm officially calling it [tos]mas...Hunter has picked it up in an email and used it a few times too. So it's an official title!
Is everyone going to come see the show on the night I go see [tos] I would think that would be an awesome experience to meet up with all the supertossers!
Yes Sean that's what I wanted to do!
There are a lot of vids online of people singing various songs from the show but I feel that there's not something just about the fans talking about [tos].
Obviously it's impacting people all over the world...
Just a thought.
Robbie, that sounds like a great idea! Unfortunately my camera is crapola.
I'm getting annoyed with the trend that's beginning of random people joining BWW to pretend their fans of [tos] and then put the show down. This is happening rather incessantly. Grr.
