[title of show] Marketing

Posted: 6/16/08 at 1:48amI just wanted to comment on the great ads, and how smart it is to have them practically take over a Broadway Site on Tony Night, when it will recieve the highest amount of traffic. Really shows them playing to their strengths. The actors, the sense of humor, and theatre folk.
With Clay Aiken in Spamalot, all of Broadway is singing a collective "There! Right! There!" -Me-
"Not Barker, Todd is the only person I've ever known who could imitate Katherine Hepburn...in print." -nmartin-

Cubby is either disappearing into obscurity after his first failure, or preparing for 'Shrek', depending on which story you choose to believe. ^_^

Is it too easy to say that the ads are totes [title of show]?
Like, I just got new shoes -- they're so [title of show]!

Yeah, I'm a total fan of their aesthetic!!!
White just-plain works (Apple anyone?)
Hand-writing instead of stylized font (more personable)
And the duct-tape (industrial, handy, grass-roots feel)

Posted: 6/16/08 at 3:13pmI hope they really pull out all the stops with this ad campaign...they're going to need it. I really hope this show succeeds.

Posted: 6/16/08 at 3:18pmI love the banner ads, they're adorable and really funny. And I'm quite glad the sound is off because while I love the ads, it's quite annoying to have an audio ad start to talk to you on every page!
