Current CDC guidelines still state that you must quarantine for 10 days after the initial onset of symptoms. After that, it’s very likely someone will continue to test positive for some time even though they won’t be contagious.


For whatever it’s worth, I know of at least one or two casts that were requiring daily testing, or at least every few days.

Box office staff at a jujamcyn theater confirmed daily. Also heard every 48 hrs.

This isn't ridiculous at all. The vaccines aren't perfect, particularly against newer variants; the only way to keep the virus in check is a mixture of regular testing, vaccination, and masking. And testing is hardly onerous- it takes like 30 seconds to conduct a PCR test.
