LARAMIE PROJECT (the only show I've ever walked out of at intermission!)

AIN'T BROADWAY GRAND (1993)
WHAT'S WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE (1994)
Did anyone else see either of these? Probably not or they certainly would have been mentioned earlier. Saw both in previews while envisioning the scathing reviews to follow. Both invited disaster and each was accomodated quickly!

Rent ~I hated the set, I really hated the story line, and I didn't like the songs. But the people who were in the show when I saw it are clearly talanted.

Jekyl and Hyde ~I just found it very depressing and dark. I wouldn't say I hated it, but it has to go on the list of worst shows I've seen considering that I have seen many many Broadway, Off Broadway, and Regional Productions of shows that I have enjoyed.

Riverdance ~I don't know how that made it to Broadway. I fell asleep trying to watch it at Radio City Music Hall.

Worst show ever......Mamma Mia! Absolute CRAP. A close second for Urban Cowboy.

There are plenty of bad shows but these three were a level beyond bad. There were incredibly awful performances in them as well. Bad all around.

Easy: Alice in Wonderland starring Kate Burton. The best thing about it was watching Tommy Tune in the audience. I believe he had been hired to help save it & he was talking w/ great animation to his ass't. Probably too long ago for you whippersnappers to remember! re: what is the worst show you have ever seen

An Almost Unholy Picture with Kevin Bacon. It was a limited engagement. Bacon was good. The play was awful. No one understood it.

Urban Cowboy. WHY?

Seriously, though, I give every member in that cast a lot of credit...everyone was so young and energetic...I wish them all well.

I WISH I could say great things about Matthew Cavenaugh...but...he's very, very attractive. I think that's about all I can say about him. I went to his solo show and my friend turned to me and went, "I feel like I'm watching 'Just Jack'" from Will and Grace." Very weird. I'd be curious to see him in the Millie tour, but after seeing the incredible Gavin and Christian, who I think is just as good, it might be painful.

I think Dirty Blonde was bad and very boring!

MAMA MIA - it's the only show I have ever seen that I detested every single second of. It was pure unadulterated drivel.

Hmm... I enjoyed Thou Shalt Not (the music)

The ballet parts were not good at all!

And I have to say at frist I hated CONTACT. And I still have issues with iht but it kind of grew on me

I would also like to know why Oklahoma made the list. I was a little disappointed in the show but how could you say it was the worst show you ever saw?
