Idina is getting over her bronchitis. From what I understand she missed at least the first half of this week's performances. I don't know if she will be back for tomorrow or not. They might have had her do the TV thing because she is the Tony Winner and the "name" in the show. So she could still be out.
When someone asked Shoshana earlier this week it was said that she thought Idina would be back by Thursday, but I don't know if she has gone on yet or not.

So..apparently my mother is unable to properly tape things while I am in school. Would anyone be able to either make a copy of their tape or let me borrow theirs? I can pay for postage and a tape if need be. I REALLY would like to see this. PLEASE let me know. (You can PM me) Thanks!

I just watched it on tape and enjoyed it. This being the only time I have heard JLT, I still prefer Kristin. Although JLT did a nice job. Idina sounded fine to me. Her voice strayed a tiny bit as she was hitting the note while singing the line "in a distant world" and there is an ever so slight raspiness there, but the voice still sounds good. And this song brought me to tears when I saw the show and it's nice to see that these two convey the emotion just as well as Kristin and Idina did when I saw it. And yes, it would have been nice to have heard the entire song. But it was a morning talk show! My opinion.

Idina is a sh*tty actress.....JLT, however is amazing. It's hard to get into character in like 20 seconds after an interview and she did a great job, she had this one moment where I just went "thank you, people who can act in musicals" She s just as impressive live-Idina is mcuh more vocally impressive live but please learn how to act.
Anyway, wow they should have done "What is tthis feeling"-this performance was so static and stiff I honestly think they moved like 3 times during the whole thing. I mean, I understand it's t.v. and you're excited people can finally see the subtleties but please don't put me to sleep.
