Bonnie and Clyde
Rebecca
Lysistrata Jones
THIS is what we get to look forward to? Lord...8 revivals and these 3 NEW musicals?
I'm excited for Rebecca and Bonnie and Clyde. From what I have heard of Bonnie and Clyde, it is not typical Wildhorn. It has some great tunes.

it feels like its going to be a "memphis" kinda year. Where the tony winner will be the best of the worst.

What about BEAUTY with music by Regina Spektor? I know that was still aiming for this season a few months ago, but maybe things have changed.
There's still around 10 or so other musicals in the works for this season.
It's July. Be patient.

i dunno,. all i heard was that it was really long and needed work...
ROBIN AND THE 7 HOODS
Am I really the only one who's super excited for both Rebecca and Bonnie & Clyde?
Besides that, if there's really only 11 shows confirmed for next year, I think it's safe to say a few theaters haven't announced their plans.

When does Allegiance the Musical open?
Allegiance isn't opening until the 2012-2013 season, they're doing an out-of-town tryout in San Diego before they open on Bway.

right that one sounds great too! a musical about japanese internment camps..i mean in a huge economic recession who doesnt wanna go have their spirits lifted by that topic..
Wasn't Bonnie and Clyde a musical in France?
(with Cécilia Cara from Roméo & Juliette: De la haine à l'amour playing Bonnie?)
I am also extremely excited for this season, two of my favourites (and Rebecca out-edges Frank Wildhorn for me for once).
I have a feeling that the creative team behind Once still want to try and transfer the show to Broadway this season. Yes, they're doing the Off-Broadway production first, but the goal was always Broadway.
Also, isn't there a good chance we're getting Ghost here late in the season?

I can't imagine Ghost opening till next season, but I could be completely off by that. Usually there's more than an under one year break before a West End show gets a Broadway production or vice versa.

Adam, Idefinitely see a future for Tales of the City and would love if it ended up on Broadway, but I don't think that will happen in the next year--I see at least one more production/revision before then (although I thought, Act I at least, it really was almost there). Also there's gossip about it maybe playing London first, which might seem odd for such an American-centric musical, but keep in mind the books are very popular in the UK (and the first miniseries was a UK--Channel 4 I believe--production that PBS later bought). I know people on here are mixed on the show, but relistening to it (many times now) i hope at least the score gets recorded.

Whateer happened to Heathers the Musical? (Although it sounds more offBroadway than on to me...) And I suppose even depending on reviews Bring It On won't make it this season...

massofmen-
Have you seen Lysistrata Jones? Because it was pretty damn fabulous when I saw it's out-of-town in Dallas.
