Kat McPhee Next Broadway Show?
 Sep 22 2020, 08:43:34 PM

Y'all this is all public record, plus she's married to Trump supporter David Foster, you don't exactly have to be a genius to figure it out. Plus, the GOP has become the party of Trump, if you are giving them money, you are helping them fund his campaign. So much is at stake right now, and if you are helping this fascist choke this country for another 4 years, I'd like to not give you any support in the future

So what? Not everyone is a Bernie Bro.

Yeah, but supporting a fascist government isn't exactly a defensible position. Money that goes towards the GOP is money going towards the re-election of a man who will strip rights from women, LGBTQ+ people, immigrants, and a whole host of other minorities within this country. He is going to undermine our constitution and drive us further into the hell we've entered. Hundreds of thousands are dead because of him and her money is going to ensure more take the same fate. So yeah, I think that her support of the GOP is pretty despicable.

Norbert Leo Butz vs Leo Norbert Butz???
 Sep 16 2020, 01:33:39 PM

There's actually something quite similar to this on the Next To Normal cast recording, where from "Prelude" to "You Don't Know," the cast for each track is correct, then from "I Am the One" to "Why Stay?/ A Promise," the cast for each track is off by one song. My theory is that originally "You Don't Know" was a joint track with "I Am The One," which would explain why "You Don't Know" has Alice Ripley, A

I adore the opening night artwork, but the one they switched to in December 2018 just feels so lifeless

Andrew Rannells was Bif Taylor in the Rockstar game Bully, and thank god somebody compiled all of his voice lines into one video. If you want some extra joy, pretend it's Whizzer screaming at Marvin.

I think he is a fantastic actor and singer, and I don't at all get the hate for him on this board. I'd absolutely love to see him back.

Shows To Rush

I’m going to New York this weekend without any plans, what are some shows you’d recommend rushing?

There's a short play I'm stage managing soon called Beauty by Jane Martin, it has two women and meets the time requirement. It's not my favorite play, but it fits your category well.

How Long Will Jenn Colella Be in Come From Away?
 May 25 2019, 02:09:35 PM

I absolutely adore Jenn Colella's version of Me & The Sky, it's probably one of my favorite recordings in recent Broadway history, so it killed me when, last year, I saw CFA and she was out. I saw the absolutely incredible Julie Reiber, and she was wonderful, but I still wished I could've seen Jenn. My school is seeing CFA on June 1st and I've been obsessively checking Playbill to see if she's still on the current cast or not, since she'll be in Peter Pan. Doe

Ohhhh yes. Bryan Singer accusations aside, he had some horrendous things to say about Colton Hayes coming out. Calling it "p---y b---s---." I'm all for being proud of your identity, but NO ONE has a right to put down someone else's journey in coming out. Ever. He later applogized, but he did some major damage to his career.

First of all, are one of you the person who was ousted from the boards by the moderators under a different username for making continual defamatory and incendiarycomments? I ask because this is, note for note, the same songshe was singing except she also claimed to be besties with Colton Haynes. It’s also ironic that the person criticizing a person of defamatory behavior was ousted from the boards for the same behavior.

Second, bravo to Noah for speaking out against Singer years before others spoke out even though his behavior was well known within the industry. That was pretty heroic of him

Third, in relation to Colton I’m sure at the moment, Noah believed what he said;after all, it does seem like the de rigueurthing for young actors to come out as part of the LGBTQ (usually as bi-) family without really seeking to identify with us and our struggle, but still,Noah should have kept his mouth shut;it’s apparent now that wasn’tthe case with Colton. It was a dumb thing to say but because of being famous, he didn’tjust say it to his friends or on twitter and it was forgotten the next day. Colton by the way has made mistakes too Like dressing up in blackface more than once. Stupid, stupid, stupid. He finally seemsto have gotten the message and stopped. I follow him on IG and wish him well. He seems like a decent guy.I’m sure if I was in the public eye, people would judge me harshly for some of the things I’ve done too But we’re all human They both seem like decent young men who made some mistakesas we alldo. Neither seems “despicable.” If we only allowed people that didn’t make any mistakes on Broadway, all the theaters would be dark.

I wish them both well on their careers.

"

No, I was optimistic about seeing him, since I have tickets for when he's going to be in the show, but when I saw that it all came rushing back to me.

Assassins dream casting

Here I Am said: "But I REALLY see Ross Lynch (My Friend Dahmer) as Hinckley - does anyone know if he sings?"

Yeah, Ross was in Austin and Ally on The Disney Channel, where he played a pop star, so he can definitely sing, and he also was in A Chorus Line at The Hollywood Bowl, so he has a history of theatre as well.
