re: LaChiusa Wild Party
 Jun 3 2014, 03:24:47 PM
Didn't this production end up cutting out almost 90 minutes of material during rehearsals? I think originally it had an intermission also. Does anyone remember anything that they cut, besides Yancey's speech?
Sweeney Todd in Paris - Stunning!

For anyone who has been to this theatre - I need advice on buying tickets...
The Corbeille de Cote, first level up on the side, very near the stage, do you think those seats, which are closer to the stage, are too far to the side? Or would it be better to sit further back in the center more?

Thanks for any help!

Lost Broadway Theatres.
I know it's out of print, but
would one recommend buying the paperback or hardcover edition?

The Will and Grace cast member was not said to be male or female.
re: Original Reverand Moore in Footloose?

Not sure about the opening of the second act.
But the original Moore was
Martin Vidnovic
who was replaced in previews.
There was a reason...can't recall right now...

High Fidelity wants the Beck. They're considering postponing until the Spring, when Wedding will close.
Curtains has their sights set on the Imperial.
And with DRS's new cast...they're time is limited.
Cort is Little Dog Laughed.

Actually, they have had the idea of an extension (s?) from day one.
re: Spring Awakening to move to Broadway

It seems that they don't want a smaller house. If so, they could take the Longacre (1095). Or wait until Inishmore closes in the next couple of months (Lyceum - 922). But from what I've heard from a couple of people is that their eyes are set on the O'Neill (1104) after Sweeney closes this fall/ winter.

re: New Drowsy Mega-Billboard Pics

I'm through that area every day on my lunch break. They removed the old mural. Really pissed about it. They removed it, restored parts of the solid mirror on the wall, and then put up the billboard.

As of now, they are planning on running until 1/28/2007
H Fidelity - Theater?
 Jun 28 2006, 10:26:56 PM
Anyone hear which theater HFidelity is hoping to book?

If i'm correct, there's only three open theaters...Cort; Belasco and the Longacre.
If their hoping for a fall start, they shouldn't be waiting for an existing show to post a closing notice. Most likely, that won't be until Labor Day for some of these shows.

And it seems the new shows have already booked their theatres...
Hilton - has Grinch, then Pirate Queen
Broadhurst - has Les Mis
Booth - has ...Magical

CPurple Rush - Help
 Jun 7 2006, 11:41:49 PM
Trying it in the morning. Is it true that evening perfs go on sale at 10am now instead of noon (like they were earlier in the run)

Are the front two rows still held for rush?

How has the line been? Fill up early?

re: Random Question

The revival of La Cage was originally announced for the Palace.

I seem to remember that if La Cage switched to the Marquis, they would be able to start performances sooner, so they did.

Yankeefan - Three Days of Rain standing...how much are they? Two or one per ticket? And how bad was the line for the tickets?

Also...anyone have any experience yet with Tarzan student rush?
